All cruise lines have positives and negatives.  I personally prefer Carnival over NCL.  My personal preference is either Holland America or Princess.  Celebrity is also a great cruise line if you can get past the snobbery.

I haven’t updated my signature in awhile.  I have been on several NCL ships.  Only because I get free cruises through the casino.  

Ok, I’m gonna be honest here.  NCL does notcompare to carnival in any way!  You have to book entertainment verses showing up at comedy/shows.  NCL is the only cruise line I have been on that I have lost weight.  If price was the same I would choose Carnival hands down!  I have sailed on NCL, Carnival, Royal, Princess, Holland America.  NCL is my least favorite.  Cabins are much smaller and food is awful.  Entertainment is a pain in the butt!  

Sooo, I’ve only been on about 3 NCL cruises.  I’ve been on over 50 cruises on other lines.  What I don’t understand is the Haven.  If you want that type of cruise, why not sail Cunard or Seabourn? I get the total exclusive areas, but, if I wanted that type of service and was willing to pay for it I personally would cruise a different line.  NCL is a mass market cruise line.  Just don’t understand paying that kind of money for Haven.

I have had every type of cabin including the owners suite. Honestly, balcony cabins are a waste of money. You get better viewing from any open deck. Also, booking an inside you will have an opportunity of receiving an upsell.

So, I’m curious, lately our room stewards have been really bad. We are not picky. We clean up after ourselves and don’t even ask for anything extra. I understand that they have more cabins to clean than before but, lately I’ve noticed that our cabin is not really clean, especially the shower. We are diamond and haven’t seen water, pins, etc until evening. Has anyone else experienced those? Obviously I love Carnival. We have been on every cruise line out there. Still prefer Carnival. But I’m really disappointed in our room stewards lately.

Really upset that they took away the cheesecake, I don’t eat the appetizers. Just steak and cheesecake! So guess I won’t be going anymore.

Thanks for the review. I am diamond also, so obviously love Carnival. Went on the sky a few months ago. I gambled a little, and just received a free cruise on the Escape. NCL is really the only other line I haven’t spent a lot of time on, so can’t wait to check it out.

Yes, they do have a veggie burger. It's really good. You have to ask for it. Usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes for them to make. It's not on menu, but I've had one on a lot of different ships.

We have been on both, and I recommend the Breeze hands down!!!!

We just debarked the Conquest on Sunday. Carnival hub app is great and free. Just download app before boarding. We did purchase the social app for $35.00. Well worth it. port Everglades is a little confusing but tolerable. The ship itself definitely needs work. Crew was great and nightlife really depends on who is sailing with you. No complaints other than the worst waters ever!!! Very rough sailing.

We weren't thrilled with the Vista either. Why do people that neither like Carnival, or have ever sailed Carnival feel the need to read and respond to comments on this board?

No!! The drinks you receive in the casino counts toward your 15 drink limit if you have cheers. Don't waste your money in the casino trying to achieve the drinks on us card!

Can I preorder a bottle of alcohol to my cabin? If so, how? I seen that you can order a bar set up but where do you choose what type you would like?

Not a premier cruise, just a free cabin offer from players club. I couldn't believe it was for an Alaska sailing, but I was very happy to accept thier offer to go back to Alaska for just port fees.😀

Just booked our cabins (husband received same offer) on the Legend for June 30th. Only had to pay port fees and taxes. Woo hoo!
