  1. Waiting for the dining room to open on the first night, and there's a gorgeous woman in front of my fiance and I. She basically looked like a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, in a low-cut dress that showed everything off, if you get my drift. Fiance pokes me and makes a funny comment, something along the lines of "gee whiz, ain't she pretty?", just to tease me.

The next day, we're at the Lido deck bar, drinking and people-watching. The woman from the night before walks past, now in the tiniest yellow string bikini I've ever seen. Fiance says "hey, isn't that the hot girl from last night? Somehow, she looks even better!" I laugh and punch him in the arm. The guy at the next table laughs and tells us that Bikini Girl is actually his companion for the cruise. He won a trip for two through his work, and didn't have a significant other. So, he posted on social media that he needed a +1, all expenses paid, but you have to...let's say behave like a spouse at night. She was the first to respond. He was a really fun guy, and his companion was super sweet. We ended up hanging out with them most of the week. My fiance even friended him on social media.

  2. 1. I like the fruity drinks, like you. They're around $7-8 a drink. You should try the Miami Vice, it's a pina colada and strawberry daquiri mixed together.

    2. Didn't really drink soda on the ship. I drank a lot of their lemonade, it was really good, and free.

    3. Pretty much everything is included in the food. There's plenty to choose from, I was never hungry. The goat cheese pizza is amazing. You don't need your card for any of the included food.

    4. I never felt the ship move much. There was one night with a sort of rough sea, but it wasn't crazy or anything. By the end of the week, you'll forget you're on a boat.

    5. Boarding went pretty quickly, from what I can recall. We got there about midday and were on the boat in about 30 minutes.

For Freeport- I have to say, you can't beat Our Lucaya. It's a nice, quiet beach, with a little seafood shack on the water. There's a straw market across the street. Taxis will take you there and back for about $15. I think there's a resort that has water toys too, but we didn't use them.

Nassau- meh. I didn't really enjoy it all that much. It's a pretty area. Atlantis was neat, but it's expensive to do anything more than walk around there. We just took a quick tour that day.

  3. We sailed on Fantasy with my boyfriend, his father and stepmother, and his grandmother and her friend. Granny isn't great with directions, and if you've been on Fantasy, you know how easy it is to get lost on your way to the MDR.

One night, we were all getting ready to go to dinner. Boyfriend and I find Dad and Stepmom in hall, Granny and Friend are not in their room. Nobody has seen them, and it's close to dinnertime. We go looking, and find Friend on the Lido, but no Granny. Friend hadn't seen her. We're starting to panic, and considering calling security to help look.

Dad starts getting really upset, I'm worried she's hurt. We finally decide to look in the dining room. It's the last place we can think of that she'd go. (Even though there's no possible way she could've found it on her own!)

Granny is sitting at our table, looking over the menu! We're all flabbergasted, and ask how she got there on her own. Well, she said she thought we'd all gone to dinner without her. The porter for our rooms was walking by, and she asked for directions to the MDR. He chaperoned her down there himself.

That was several years ago, and we're still laughing over it.
