Hi everyone. I know there are a million threads on Orlando Intl - Cocoa Beach transportation, but as far as I can see, my situation is a little different. I am cruising with my SIL in March (ladies week :D) and she is driving down to Cocoa Beach while I am flying in earlier on Friday from another part of the country, so I need transportation for just me. Any suggestions on what would be my best option? I would go with the transportation from the Dream, but it looks like they only do transfers on the day of the cruise, and it looks like a rental car with drop off fees would be cost-prohibitive considering I'm dividing the cost by 1.
Any help would be great.

Yes...you got it. Most people think it's my age or birth year.
But we know it's the answer. ;)
Just need the question. :D

Ungaro cocktail dress in a classic sheath style that I would have sworn had never been worn for $25 at a consignment shop in Miami. My favorite go-to LBD to this day and it is 10+ years old now!

I forgot a nightlight that changes colors and has fish swimming around in it when plugged in (yeah, and I'm 40 yrs old :D). I LOVED that nightlight!

We will have this cabin in about 4 weeks...Hopefully I can get some pics posted for ya!
Thank you! That would be fantastic. Have a great time too!

My go-to website is Athleta. It's almost one-stop shopping for me. After that, Sahalie, Garnet Hill, Sundance Catalog and Boden come up. For some high-ticket but good quality stuff of natural fabrics, I'll try Poetry and Wrap.
LOVE Athleta. In the same vein Title Nine has wonderfully well made, really, really cute active wear, dresses, skorts, skirts, shorts, etc.

Woot! Got one of the L cabins today! #6484. Now to start planning, after all, only 219 days. :D

Lots of good info here from everyone, thank you! I'm gonna go for it. Lets face it, as long as I'm on the ship I'm gonna be happy, no matter what cabin I'm in, so why not check out something new! :D

All L-shaped cabins are not the same on each ship/class. That's why some beds split into twins and some don't. And some have couches and some don't. And some have lounges on the balcony and some don't. You would definitely have to ask someone who has been on the exact ship and even then, you're answers may vary...... I had one person argue with me about the fact that my room didn't have a couch..even when I showed them the picture...lol.
Good to know. I LOVE my PVP, hopefully she will be able to talk intellegently to the amenities in the ones on the Dream when I book tonight. And you are right, these are the first pics I've seen with a couch in one of the rooms, usually I guess it is table and chairs only.

erby2283, looks like you had 4 chairs on the balcony, did you have a lounger as well or I am guessing that is an either/or sort of thing. Was it uncomfortable at all having the bathroom right next to the bed like I see?
We spend quite a bit of time on the balcony just reading on sea days and I love to get up with the sunrise and to watch us pull into ports with breakfast out there, so I think we will probably do it, just concerned about the whole single bed thing. Only because I am a fidgeter at night and don't want to be waking up my SIL with my constant jostling.

Looking at 15 March cruise on the Dream and thinking about one of the L-shaped cabins. I would love to hear any thoughts from the CC community on these cabins. I have looked at some videos on youtube, but still on the fince between this and the regular shaped large-balcony cabins (same price). One big concern, does the bed have to be in a king configuration or can it be split into 2 twins (me and my SIL going)? I haven't seen any videos or pics that show the split bed configuration.
Thanks to all!

For all who bring duct tape - have you seen the new patterned stuff Michaels is carrying? I have a roll of hot pink zebra stripe to dress up my boring black suitcase for my cruise in a couple weeks - they won't get that bag mixed up! :D It also comes in all sort of sold colors and several different patterns.

If you like the ones from Athleta, you will also like all the skorts Title Nine sells. I have about 4 pairs from Title Nine in different styles and love all of them. Great for sightseeing.
