Does anyone know if on the ship or on the island do they still make you remove all your earrings and jewelry before riding the slides?

Just wondering if you book a cabin that has an angled balcony.  Do you get a bigger or smaller balcony?

Sailing on the NCL Escape-December 10, 2016. Anyone staying overnight on the 9th? Looking for a hotel that has free shuttle to the cruise terminal. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know how much the pictures are this year on the Dawn for the different sizes? Not sure if it's worth buying the 10 picture package plus one free for $149 or just wait and get 20% off from being a Gold member.

Has anyone done this all inclusive excursion. Was all the food and drinks available the entire time there or just once at lunch? Also how many slides are there? Debating if this excursion is worth $140 per person? Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

What type of parties do they have on deck? I thought I read about a GLOW party? If so what night is it and do they provide glow sticks or should we bring our own if we want to have some?

It sounds like you a had a great time. Sailing on the 16th and we did book the excursion tru the ship to go to Atlantis. How did you go about booking a room there? Did you think you had enough time to do the slides or were the lines very long? Also did you just grab a Taxi to get there? The ship excursion is $124 per person and we have 5 so I bet a room is quite abit cheaper.

We are sailing in 2 weeks also. I know NCL is freestyle but do they still have 2 formal nights that are optional if you want to get dressed?

Does anyone know how much a taxi would be for a family of 5 to Orient Beach? Also do they then charge you per person to get into the beach? Not sure if the 3 1/2 hour excursion thru NCL for $49 is a better deal.

What time is the ship in port? Date? Cost?

 

We did the full day through the ship, off season, for about $99 per adult and thought it was worth it. We were there from 9 - 4.

The excursion leaves at 12:15 and says it's 6 hours. The cost is $124 per adult.

Couldn't find any post on Nassau. My daughter wants to do this excursion. Read the reviews on NCL website and 3 out of 4 liked it. Is there enough time to do the slides or is it too busy and the lines are very long preventing from having enough time to enjoy all the slides

Sailing the first time on the Getaway on August 16, 2014. Just wondering if there is anything to do on the night that a show is not booked in advance? Like do they have another show or entertainment somewhere else? What about the comedian shows are they the same person every night?

Just got lucky and won a cruise for 2 on my Radiance of the Seas April cruise from Hawaii to Vancouver playing bingo. Get up to a Ocean view for free. Can you see out of these cabins, way up front on both the starboard and port side. Was thinking of just taking a Cat. I on deck 3.

Just wondering if people use neck pillows and if they help? Leaving Sunday on a 10 hr. 41 min. flight from Chicago to Honolulu. I'm hoping to maybe buy one to help me sleep on the plane.

Sailing on the Radiance of the Seas on April 27, 2014. Flying from Boston to Chicago and then Chicago to Honolulu. It's a 10 hour 41 minutes flight. Any suggestions to help stay a awake for the 10 p.m. sailing which will be 4 a.m. my time?

Just saw I can buy all my photos for my upcoming 12 night cruise to Hawaii, Victoria, and Vancouver for $249. Haven't sailed since last August 2013 on the Allure of the Seas. This package is quite a bit cheaper than the 7 days on the Allure. Still wondering if it would be worth it?

Anyone know the prices for pictures?

Sailing on the Radiance of the Seas on April 27, 2014. Anyone know if there is a van service for transfers at each port from the airport to ship in Honolulu and ship to airport in Vancouver. I think the $61.75 per person seems like a lot of money.

Sailing on the Radiance of the Seas on April 27, 2014 from Honolulu, HI to Vancouver, B. C. returning on May 9. Looking for transfer prices from airport to ship and ship to airport in B.C. Anyone ever use a private company? I think the $61.50 per person thru RCCI is expensive.

Drums of The Pacific is at the Kaanapali Hyatt and the other one is, I think, at Black Rock/Sheraton Kaanapali. Can't comment on either, we've only ever been to Old Lahaina Luau.

 

P.S. Both Bing.com and Google Earth have great aerial photo coverage of west Maui.

I found online that we could book I think the old Lahaina luau on our own. Just not sure if its in walking distance or would we need to get a taxi?

Got lots of good info about Maui. Now asking about these 2 ports. The ship does not seem to have anything to do thru their excursions. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Sailing on the Radiance of the Seas on April 27, 2014. In both ports 8-6.
