  1. I did try our PCC and he suggested booking on board as he could not get in. Maybe I will try him again today.

I chose Tempanyaki more for the experience than the food. I think if we were going for food, we may have tried La Cuccina.

    Thanks for the help :)

Try again. The first time I just called the number noted on the page where you make the reservations online. The woman who answered couldn't do anything to help. The second time I called and spoke to my PCC who got in touch with someone who actually contacted Teppanyaki on the Breakaway and set up a "group dinner" for the 9 of us. Had to pay in full for all 9 reservations. Hope this helps!

  2. Yes they can. Also on most ships they could use the vouchers also in other restaurants with the same or smaller cover charge - we have yet never used them in Le Bistro but usually in Moderno and once in the Italian restaurant - once we had dinner with another couple and paid for it with our another voucher.

Cool! I'm paying for the cruise as a gift for my parents 65th anniversary...will be nice to get a free meal out of it! LOL

  3. My wife and I had letters in our suite inviting us to dine on them at Le Bistro. I was surprised that each of us received a dinner for two as platinum cruisers.:)

My parents are Platinum cruisers. If I am reading this correctly you're saying they each will get a letter for dinner for 2 at Le Bistro. Instead of eating there twice, could they go once and take me and the dh for a free meal? :-)

  4. Would like to know that also. Have the bump spa balcony #14750 on Getaway and booked that cabin for the lager balcony. Was thinking about the loungers being moved around by crew in the wee hours of the morning

Just did a quick search, and it does seem that the consensus is that cabins under the pool deck are noisy. I think the scraping deck chairs would drive me nuts, so I will probably stay with my regular spa balcony that is located under other cabins. So tempting though to get a mini suite for less than the price of a regular balcony!

  5. Sailing on Breakaway in March and would like to make reservations in the specialty restaurants for my party of 9. On line you can only book for up to 8 and when I called NCL they were no help. I am nervous that if I wait until boarding I won't be able to get the times I need. (My parents are in their 80's and can't eat too late) Any ideas from any of you brilliant and helpful people out there? If it helps, my parents are Platinum Latitudes Rewards members and I think they can use a Concierge onboard. Thanks!

  6. We're going on tomorrow and will be at Slam's most every night! Will try to find out for you. He and his band came back on in Dec.

They are one of the key reasons we booked!:)

So glad Slam is back! We'll be cruising the beginning of March....hoping he is still performing on the Breakaway. Everyone always raves about him.

  7. There was rocking up there, but my wife and I enjoy it. We missed it when the seas were calm. If you are prone to sea sickness buy a regular balcony on a lower deck and add the spa package once on board. It will be $199 pp for the week

Thanks for the quick response. I like the rocking as well! Puts me right to sleep at night.
