  1. For those who googled zero gravity chairs, they are the bomb!!! I skipped asking RCL because our TA was able to book us one of the last aft corner balconies.....its HUGE!!!! From what I've seen online these cabins have loungers. Heck, we could hang a hammock if we wanted! I saw a pic of some guy who did this. So, we may not be in zero gravity chairs, but we'll have a huge balcony with loungers. Score!!!! Thanks to all!:D

  2. The cost of the alcohol/beverage package on RCL has me debating changing to NCL. I'm booked far enough out and can change with no fee. Granted, we'd have to pay the $99.99 each in gratuities when and if be booked NCL. My hubby doesn't drink. On NCL with the free beverage promotion it's a win for me!!!! I finally got him off sodas, so it's a waste for him. I guess I could just "wing it" on RCL and try to keep MY cocktails and wine at $200. to equal what I would have paid NCL in gratuities? Hmmmm, so how many drinks do ya think I could have on RCL for $200? Yeah, I know, I'm overthinking this. I have a feeling the drinks and gratuities would add up pretty fast.

  4. I believe I read of someone else doing this and the chairs come in a bag. So, we could tag it. Yes, we'll be driving. I'll check with our agent. I know it sounds like a huge added hassle, but it'd be a lot better to kick back (even though we'd be side by side) and be comfy. It would totally beat sitting in a balcony chair with our feet kicked up. I believe our agent said the aft balconies have smaller balconies or were taken? Can't remember. Thanks for indulging my out-of-ordinary Q. I'll post what I hear from RCL. :)

  5. We've cruised NCL Dawn several times and LOVE the itinerary. RCL Liberty of the Seas looks like a superior ship with all the activities; however we prefer the itinerary of NCL. If we go RCL we lose NCL's stops at Costa Maya which we love and NCL's new private island which would be great because Belize is one of our least fave stops (we've done most everything there). So, should we go with the itinerary we prefer (NCL) or a ship we've never been on? This will be during spring break (gotta go then) and we'll have our 9 year old daughter with us. She loves more beach stops, thus NCL. She's shy and usually doesn't want to do the kids clubs, but maybe RCL will win her over and my hubby and I can actually enjoy some quiet adult pool time? My concern is that with it being Spring Break RCL will have even more kids due to all the cool water slides and activities and the lines will be long. Should we go with the cruise with the itinerary we prefer over exploring a new ship at a busy time like Spring Break?? We've sailed NCL at Spring Break before and had no problems. I think I know the answer just from writing this out. Haha Still, I welcome the advice of others.
