  1. No need to tip in Australia/New Zealand for anything.

    Should you have a meal which you were exceptionally pleased with you can leave a tip but there is no percentage or amount expected at all, leave what you want.

    Some cafes have tip jars at the front if you want to drop your change into but again, it is not expected.

    All totally up to you and either way, the standard of service in hotels, taxis, restaurants, tours etc will not be change.

  2. If you like sleeping, don't book these rooms. They are an expensive internal room category but definitely not worth the money. It is directly under the pool which starts cleaning after midnight and seems to go for hours. Also, it is very close to the atrium doors and is extremely noisy with band music. Another downside, maybe because of school holidays but it seemed to be a running track for all the kids whose parents were out for the night. :mad:
