Anyone know how often they restock the $500 cards? Is it first of the month or random? I'm trying to buy more before final payment is due at the end of this month.

My husband and I have done it 3 times and have loved every experience. It does last 2-3 hours but it is very entertaining and delicious. For us it has the potential to be a lot cheaper than if the two of us were sitting at a blackjack table for 3 hours.

Double check your promo. Most casino promos state you can earn a DOU card after a certain amount of play. If this is your first time earning a promo I doubt you earned a Premier or Ultra promo which do in fact start you out with a DOU card. I just don't want you to be disappointed if this is the case.

As mentioned above. On my last Premier cruise on the Horizon in June, when I went to the cage to collect my casino cash I noticed my husband's name on their list of who gets what and it said he got $300. We booked the cruise through me because he didn't have any casino comps under his number at the time but much to our surprise once on board he did actually receive $. I'm just mentioning this so that if your cabin mate also has gambled on Carnival, make sure they go to the cage and see if they have and casino cash coming even if it did not previously show up under their name.

I know they are hard to come by so I thought I would post that I just cancelled a 2 bedroom Grand Suite, cabin # 11001 for the December 8th cruise.

How much can you get back if you use the casino trick? I play blackjack and have over $4,000 in gift cards. Can i put it all on my S&S and then take all that out using the casino trick and then use it to play blackjack?
This is the kind of $ amounts I am talking about. If I can for sure get it paid out at the end of the cruise seems like a great option to load my account with gift cards at 10% off rather than carry cash or pay 3% at the tables.

Thanks for the info. I will have to look into this further. I am not familiar with a player's bank on slot machines as I only play blackjack or craps.

If I buy gift cards and apply them to my account, in the form of Cruise Cash, can I pull that money out at a table without the 3% service charge? I either have to carry a bunch of cash or I have signed for more cash at the blackjack table if I needed it but I pay the fee. I only ever put a credit card down on my sign and sail account so I have never had funds waiting to be used. I'd rather not travel around with thousands of dollars in cash before getting on the ship if this is an option.

Does anyone have experience parking at the Enterprise parking lot at 680 12th Avenue? We are doing an 8 day cruise and staying extra days in New York before. We found a website where you can get a good rate for monthly parking. Just wondering if anyone has done this and how it worked out?

Our boys are 7 and 10 now, but they have been going to the kids club and night owls for years. They both absolutely love it and we pretty much use it every night of the cruise. They have been on at least 8 cruises, some with NCL, but we have never had a bad experience with any of the kid's programs.

I believe Chef's table menu has changed recently. If you search on here someone did a post about it and has pictures of every course. I have done it twice and both experiences were awesome! On the Vista last year I got an email back from the steakhouse six months before we sailed saying it was fully booked and we would be on a waiting/ standby list. When we got on the ship we had a note in our cabin from the steakhouse saying that we were accepted and it had the day and time. I think they do add extra seatings if they get enough people on a waiting list.

Question 1 is correct and well known by frequent cruisers
Question 2... Is correct... You must book your children with atleast 1 adult. So if your a family of 4 and want you and your spouse in 1 room and your children in another...You book both rooms with 1 adult and 1 child.... Then once you board you can switch out the room card keys accordingly assuming your rooms are within the allotted cabin distance
This is not true. I just book connecting cabins and was going to put one adult in each cabin and the Carnival rep said that was not necessary. We have two confirmation numbers, one for a cabin with my husband and I, one for the connecting cabin with my 7 and 9 year old sons.

I only show the Sunshine on May 5th as well. I just changed my Horizon cruise on June 13th from a standard rate to a Premier Cruise rate yesterday as I just received the new offer. I lost $100 OBC that I originally received when booking but got all the new perks of Premier. I booked through Costco so I had to call them and they called Carnival while I stayed on the line to change the rate code. I also got to keep my Costco cash card benefit that I received when I originally booked.

I've always received cash but I have seen a few people on another site saying they weren't getting cash and that Carnival was placing it on their S&S to be played in the casino.
Just as a regular on board credit? Is there a way to distinguish that a credit must be put into play in the casino? Granted this all probably doesn't matter as I'm sure I will spend it there plus some :')

They are slowly changing it over to free play chips or free slot play from cash. Right now it depends on if the ships slot machines have been upgraded to work with the free play or not. I know from experience the Vista is now free play and not cash and have heard that the Conquest has recently switched as well.
Do you know this to be true for Premier cruises and not just any casino promos? I am on the Horizon in June so this is not great news if true. I don't see how they could give me slot play when I strictly play blackjack or craps. Even free play chips force you to play a certain denomination. They must know what games I play from past cruises.

Thanks everyone. It definitely says cash so hopefully that's what I get!

I just called casino host and switched my rate code to the Premier offer. Host said we would recieve $900 in casino play. I feel like I have used a casino promo before and I am pretty sure they gave me cash but it was a lower amount. Anyone else have experience with recieving casino cash?
-
I recieved a Premier cruise offer that says I get $900 in casino cash. Am I going to get $900 or will it be some sort of promo chip that has to be played in the casino?

I used 3 seperate $100 giftcards and put the rest on my amex card for Cheers package last night online with no problems.
-
From what I have read the $500 e-card option comes and goes. Currently only mail option is available. I signed my husband up and was able to buy another card through his account. I will check back after the first of the year to see if more e-card options are available.
-
I signed up for the rewards program and bought 2 gift cards last night because I want to buy the drink package before it goes up after the first of the year. AARP only let me buy 2 of the $100 ecards. The $500 option was mail only. This morning I tried to buy more and the message stated....you already reached maiximum purchase for this item, only 2 are allowed. Is it 2 forever or 2 every 24 hours? It can't be per day because otherwise I would be able to buy more this morning.
-
Does anyone know if it is possible to combine this offer with getting our cruise through Costco? Does the purchase need to be made directly with Carnival? Can I get the credit if I buy the drink package with my amex through Carnival directly?
-
This is partly guesswork on my part, but I think it somewhat depends on your drink plan choices as well. It looks like if you got one of the all-you-can-drink packages you get some ice cream at probably the gelateria and also maybe some other things. Maybe some desserts and coffee at the little cafe? Other than that somewhere I read the pizza is one of the no extra charge options. If that's correct there are still five extra charge options plus the Chef's Table, but the page on restaurants on Seaside makes it seem like the pizzaria is part of the buffet.
MSC has a Chef's Table? We have done this experience on Carnival a couple of times and loved it. Any additional info would be appreciated.

Is that for active military only or any prior service ?
My husband served 9 years and was honorably discharged. We got the 10% off.

I am still unable to see any suites with whirlpool tubs or even suites higher than fantastica for any sailing on the Grandiosa next Summer 2020. Is there still an IT problem?
