  1. Yes just received this email stating 24hrs not 72hrs as previously told. We had arranged testing in the uk late Saturday 9th April, night in Venice, then board the Moon on Monday 11th. All very late to change now.

At this rate you'll be with the captain up top by the time you board! Enjoy your cruise!

Thank You, off early tomorrow looking forward to having a silver suite.

  3. ok thank you for replies, think I was mislead at time of booking, but understand it was my fault should have chosen suite number.

My many problem is SS not contacting when they said they would reply by return.

Hopefully won't spoil our cruise looking forward to St Petersburg.

  4. We sail on Silver Spirit 28/8/19, so only about 26 days time.

Ok this time we did not book direct with silversea, but not sure its just me but I like to know my suite number.

I have phoned SS twice know with promise of a answer, nothing to date.

This is our 100 day sailing cruise so slightly dissapointed !!

  5. When we reach Montreal our flight back to the UK is 21.30.

On previous sailings we have always had earlier flights, do Silversea provide anything on this day, maybe a tour to book?

We booked direct with Silversea London who I have emailed several weeks ago but NO reply, also asking about dress code etc.

Anyway Tuesday Southampton Silver Muse, excited.:D

  6. We are also on 6718 in September, now see the cruise has been broken up into smaller cruises is this normal? We have received our silver box & can download air tickets from my silversea. Reading all these posts with interest have had no problems booking excursions etc, but like to chose daily where to have dinner, think this could be a problem.

  7. Not really advice, perhaps ... but I expect you to be delighted with the experience. Having sailed both SilverSea (twice) and Seabourn (thrice), the Seabourn cruises I always remember vividly and fondly. No negative experience with SilverSea, per se, lovely ships and the like, however I found the service to be - for the most part - aloof and distant. And the quality from the SilverSea kitchen generally unmemorable, although I will say the dining room service was typically more efficient than Seabourn.

Have a wonderful trip, I'm not envious at all!

Thank you really looking forward to this trip now, think we got stuck in a rut with silversea, nice to try something new.

  8. I was wondering this too.We are boarding at Southampton 27th May.All our past sailings after a long flight have been a mad rush to get aboard, one time missing the fire drill. So looking forward to easy travel down to Southampton & relaxing lunch before setting sail. Only problems its only 7day cruise. Thanks for the information.

  9. So looking forward to returning to the cloud it has been about 2 years since we last sailed on her. We have a mid-ship suite with shower so this is all new from last time, taking along brother & sister in law who have not been on silverseas before. November 12th for 10 days to Funchal not sure how warm the weather will be. Nice to meet up with people from this board last time anyone going?
