We used Cosol tours before in St Lucia.
It was a great tour...very long though and I got alittle sick on way back due to windy roads and fast driving. But it was a very good tour! So worth it!

I don't believe they have 2019 rates open yet. It's too far in advance.
I did book our December date though for this year. Maybe call them?

So on my last cruise on Fascination we had terrible issues getting wifi to hook up on the ship via the HUB app so I mentioned that to another cruiser and he gave me an actual URL to go to in Google and it worked immediately. For some reason hooking up using HUB app wouldn't work but the link I used it that he gave me. I had no issues after that the entire cruise.
Unfortunately I lost that URL link. Has anyone heard of this and if so do you have that website address?

Yes we did this excursion in April. It was amazing to see what they are doing for the kids. They also took us to a church whose minister welcomed us in and showed us around. The orphanage is not like an orphanage I thought of. They build houses, have moms and dads that live with the kids in each house and they take 6 or so kids in each. They go to school, church, and get the choice at 18 to go off to college or into the work force. I was impressed and wish our foster system was like that. These kids are not fostered and they are only there if there is zero family that is safe for them. They stay there until they age out. They are not moved around either. And the $$$ you pay to do the excursion goes right back to them

We will be there 4/8! How many you need? It's only the 2 of us.

We bought 4 bottles of rum inside the airport in June 2015 before flying home. They gave us a carrying bag that held 4 bottles and we carried it onto the airplane. The prices were alittle cheaper than the states (maybe a dollar or so less per bottle) but it was easy.

Thank you all so much!

Can anyone suggest a tour company or private guide that can do a day tour or even 1/2 day tour to the Rainforest in June? We are flying in 2 days prior to cruise so we have a full day to do it.
Thanks

There is a CVS across from the port.
-
No we went all over the island and to trunk bay lol
-
We went there while on a cruise. Took ferry over to Cruz bay and rented a Jeep and drove.
Thinking of doing it again in June. Thanks

Is Skinny Legs still in St Johns?

Okay thank you

Probably a dumb question:
If I order a cake for our anniversary delivered to our cabin the 1st night can I take it to the MDR and eat it there for dessert?

Take taxi from pier to red hook ferry.
Take red hook ferry over to St Johns
Pick up a taxi in st johns to wherever you wish to go
Just leave plenty of time for ferry back and ride back to pier.
I'd hate for you to miss the ship.
Most ships offer a tour over to St Johns which might be best bet in case you are late
-
Yes I suggest doing cruiseship tour if it's your first time.
We did it on our own once....you take a taxi to the red hook ferry and purchase tickets (round trip) and take ferry over to St Johns. There you'll have to pick up another taxi to wherever you are wishing to go. We rented a car in St Johns and it was so much fun! Just be sure to get back to ferry in time and leave enough time for trip back from ferry to pier. But first time I suggest you use ships tour.

We are staying a the Casablanca Hotel in June. It's not far from the port (a few blocks).
Last cruise out of San Juan we stayed at the Sheraton OSJ across from the port and walked to the ship (cross the street). I liked the Sheraton however this time we will have an extra person with us so we decided to try out the Casablanca Hotel as they have a larger suite room with enough beds for all of us. Our cruise isn't til June 2017 but the Sheraton OSJ and Casablanca rates were pretty comparable. I guess alot depends upon how much you wish to spend and what type of room you need.

Cafe Mallorca has best breakfast with fresh squeezed OJ.
Order a mallorca...YUMMY But get their early cause they fill up so fast!

Was the transportation from the port included or did you take your own transportation?
I was looking at this class myself when we are there next year.
It says transportation is included so I'm assuming so.

That is a great deal. But not for us. Now realizing that we booked at a very good rate...in order to get the $200 OBC, we would have to pay $260 more on the orginal fare. Plus we have $100 OBC from booking on board?
Yes and you'll lose the $100 OBC you currently have. They don't add to that. Mine is not worth it either.
-
I just went to their website and couldn't find this offer.
My Dec. cruise is paid off, do you think they will still give me the OBC?
It's not on Carnival site...you have to call and pay off your cruise and if the cruise price changed then pay the new price and get the OBC.
My cruise changed by going up 50.00 so I'm debating on if I want to call or not. Might not be worth paying off right now.

I heard it's new and existing cruises.
I'm seriously thinking of paying off my June 2017 cruise since I've almost paid it off anyways :)
MSC Grandiosa just booked for 2020

Just booked Grandiosa for Med cruise in Feb 2020. Have been on alot of Carnival cruises....this is our first MSC one.
I have a MSC number but have become platinum with Carnival since then. Can I request they update my points on MSC again? I wasn't sure how that worked. Thanks!
