  1. So they changed out most of the L'Occitaine while in drydock? Good to know! My sister and I love the line, but not the same fragrance. When we travel together, our cabin looks like a small L'Occitaine pop up store. I agree, for girl props, you;ve got to bring your own.

I'm going to have to try this brand...never heard of it, but seems everyone loves it!

  2. There is one in the TD centre and used to be one around Bloor. Join their club and they will send you offers. Also there are stores in US outlet malls and you can buy online as well.

But the ship isn't carrying this kind anymore from what I've heard???!!!

  3. I've found little use for body lotion in this climate, but it's true you will be in and out of the water and shower a lot. I would bring body lotion if your skin really needs it. Don't know about these new dispensers--I guess they are designed to be ecologically sound since this is one of the company's big initiatives. Haven't tried the shampoo yet. Easy enough to buy a trial size bottle of Herbal Essence, I often bring this type of bottle on trips like this.

Usually shampoo in dispensers is not that great...

  4. there are THREE of us traveling. anyone know if the taxi's are large enough for 3 people and 3 large pieces of luggage? I was told it is about 2000 for two people...does it cost more for the 3rd person??? How long did you wait at the airport for a taxi to take you to IC? We get in at 5:30AM so thinking it won't be too busy

  5. I do not understand! I went to their web and sent another response last night and included our reservation. Then I called our travel agent and she forwarded our confirmation to them and told them the problem of us not hearing from them. She asked if they would respond to her and she would forward to us....I still haven't heard from them. My son tried his yahoo account and nothing....maybe they don't like us

  6. I also have a car as well as ferry transport with them. They Have been very responsive. Below is my contact info for them.

They just re-confirmed with me for my reservation

    gvaitiare@albert-transport.net

THANK YOU! My son will try his work email. They responded months ago but now I am confirming and I can't get a response. I have sent 4 emails, one through their website. I check my spam...I wonder what the problem is.....Thank you...

  7. Well, as far as adapters, you have a couple there that I can see--it's basically the "Euro" plug, two round prongs. Looks like the black one near the top is one of those.

As far as electricity, your electronic devices such as a phone, laptop or camera will have a converter built into the "transformer", the little box that's part of the charging plug; almost all those devices are dual-current. These will be fine. But anything like a hairdryer, curling iron or shaver will have to have a converter, unless the device is specifically dual-current--sometimes hairdryers will have a switch, for instance.

If you're worried, you can always just bring a small, portable power bar, and just use the U.S. plugs.

So if we bring a power strip with like 5 plugs on it we can plug that into the US outlet and plug 5 things into the strip? It will not blow a curcuit?

  8. we are getting close to our 11 say cruise. We are wondering about our second day in Bora Bora...we are doing the hotel excursion the first day. Was going to do the helicopter tour but they have been canceled. There is a lagoon excursion to see the sunset. Do you know how long the tenders go back and forth because we thought maybe we could just catch a tender and go to the hotel and watch the sunset without doing the excursion???? Or any other suggestions to do the second day besides their private island and shopping.

  9. My adult daughter found the hide away bed more comfortable than the roll away and she is 5 feet 8 inches. She too found the cabin, the sleeping arrangements "manageable" since she loved being on the PG. She came along on 3 PG cruises with us before she got married. After the first cruise, we barely got our invitations out to her and she was really to go! The diving was great for her and the crew took great care of her!

What room were you in? we are in 418..I'm going to check the bed situation tomorrow

  10. Although the size is 200 sq feet I find the space quite tight and it is because of the bathroom with tub and heavier furniture. The third person has a very small and uncomfortable bed that comes out of the sofa. However my adult DD says it is worth suffering to enjoy the PG!

You may not have the room to move the beds if you are in a triple cabin.

This doesn't sound good! I thought there was a bunk bed?

  11. Oh God yes, even without the balcony, I was happy! :D

I usually book a balcony, and if I was with my husband, that's what we would have.

3 coworkers were in Cabin 434 (all male adults) I went in there and it was tight. 2 beds are very close. Maybe 2 to 3 inches apart, that's why me and my cabin mate rearranged the room.

However, i loved deck 4 for various reasons.

*it was near the reservation and shore excursion desk.

^You tender from deck 3. Just walking up one flight of steps and not having to wait for an elevator was very convenient.

^The Grand Salon is on deck 5, that's where all the shows are held.

I'm not going to lie, if it's 3 adults. It will be tight. If it's 3 women, definitely tight. Organization will be the key.

this room sq footage is more than we are used to on NCL or Carnival and we had 4 adults in those small rooms. There will be my hubby and adult son. I like the idea of rearranging the beds as I'd like to move my snoring hubby as far away as possible!:')...I think we have a bunk too. Do you hang your things up or live out of suitcases?
