  1. I've been losing weight for months, but I decided I needed to take a little pressure off myself and bought a different red dress for our upcoming cruise.

The first one came in a little smaller than I had anticipated (bought it about 3 months ago) and while I could probably wear it, it's still a little too snug for my liking. I'll just wear the first one I bought for Valentine's day (I know it'll fit by then! LOL!!)

This is the newest addition :)

  2. pjck71--I love your dress. You will both look stunning.

WOW, you "Texan's" know how to dress ! Love your outfits. Please post pictures when you return from your cruise. Have a great time.

Thanks ya'll!! The hardest thing for me to do with 70+ days til the cruise, is to STOP shopping for dresses! LOL!! I need to block ebay & every other dress site on the internet til January ;)

  3. Thank you. I actually "won" them off Ebay (I was the only bidder) The seller is alisapanus....these are Ever Pretty dresses but this seller ships from CA (I think that's right) The dresses run small IMO....I have found that if they do not have a zipper I can wear my regular size...however I have several dresses that I won that are my reg size and the next size up and all are to small because of the material and having a zipper. I paid $31 for this ivory one...the hot pink and the black I only paid $23 for and all these prices included the shipping. Will look a little better after I get a few more pounds off

Thanks for linking the seller! I'm always hesitant to buy dresses on ebay, but there are so many of you buying from these sellers and happy with the product, that I'm going to give it a shot :)

  4. Well, I posted this over at the Off topics, but they said I should come over here. I've worn one of these on a cruise and the other one will be on my next one. However, I just got invited to a red carpet movie premier tomr. night and I was trying to decided which one I should wear. I have a black shawl to wear b/c its kinda chilly here. But I think I would need a silver for the purple dress. Can you guys give your thoughts?

    thanks!

I love the purple! I'd do the silver wrap with silver accessories :)

  5. QUESTION: Is anyone interested in joining me for a Fashionista Cruise - summer or fall of 2012...just a thought...

    Now THAT would be fun!!

I've enjoyed reading everyone's comments in this thread & in this section. I've been a little stressed over what to wear during our E. Caribbean cruise in Dec/Jan and ya'll have been a HUGE help!

We'll be flying from Texas to Florida on Dec 30 to board on NYE. It could be 90* or 30* in Texas that day, so travel clothes will have to wait til the last minute. I'm hoping we have pleasant caribbean weather for our trip and will definitely have outfits planned in advance!

I plan to wear dresses mostly, since I've been dieting (not for the cruise!!) and have been changing sizes fairly quickly. I've pretty much been living in dresses for about the last 6 months :)

  6. I LOVE this diet! I've done lots of other things, but this seems to be the one for me. I lost a little over 30#'s in about 8 weeks. I didn't do perfectly this summer, so I didn't lose but a pound or 2 since June, but I'm still losing inches and didn't GAIN over the summer, so that's a plus!

I'm going back to phase one and hitting it hard to lose some more before I buy all of my cruise clothes. Ideally, I'd like to lose 40 more before Dec 30, but that may be pushing it. I know the back end of weight loss is a little harder than the front end.

I just like the fact that you actually EAT on this plan, so I feel like even tho I lost a bunch at first, I was still doing it in a healthy way.
