I rented a cabana last December it was okay. Some of the cabanas had good shade. The one I I had did not. I suggest you get there early and request one with shade.

I will be a solo traveler on the Seattle to Vancouver one night cruise in September. My question is do you get 2 cruise credits for a one night cruise if you are traveling alone?

Gentleman passed away this morning so I called Princess and was told that if she does not travel I will not have to pay additional for the room as the balcony's for my cruise are sold out. Although, I will only get the second person taxes back. I suppose that is my single supplement. I called hotel because room and discount rate were due to my daughter status with the hotel chain. Marriot says they will honor the rate even if I come alone. Everyone has been so kind to us. The funeral is out of our home state. I know my daughter wants to come with me but is conflicted. I am being as supportive I can while trying to decide what is best for me.

This cruise was to be her 25th birthday present. We cruised frequently with her when she was a teenager. I appreciate the suggestions it is hard when you are too close to a problem.

My daughter's grandfather-in-law has had a sudden illness which is expected to be fatal . This may mean she will not be able to make our cruise set for Thursday of this week. I had a great deal come in the mail and booked us two weeks ago. I obtained private travel insurance from CSA. My question is will I have to pay additional for the single supplement if she cannot travel? Should I cancel with Princess?

We had this room going to Alaska in September of 2012. It was wonderful We had a cruise critic get together and had 10 people on that balcony I only felt the thrusters a couple of times and only heard the show music once.I had brought ear pugs and a noise machine and did not need them. I have sailed the Star five times and Princess Ten times. Best room yet! Good Luck

Thanks for the input on the cabin we booked A746 to Alaska. I put a do not upgrade on our reservation I will post pictures after the cruise.

Looking at this cabin for an Alaska trip later this summer. We've done balconies on the Caribe deck on previous trips but considering A746 this time around. Looking for a review on this room since the balcony layout shown on the deck plan on Princess' site doesn't seem to match pictures, descriptions or deck plans on other sites. Has this cabin been added and numbers re-issued? Anyone cruised in this cabin and if so, would you do it again? Looks like it has a one-of-a-kind balcony. I've done a search on this site as well but it appears this cabin number used to be in a different place. Even have my glasses on!
