  1. This is such a shame.  We are elite and do not drink alcohol so we always traded our mini bar for coffee cards.  It seems that with Princess they want you to purchase the additional add on fares.  In March some people were able to get a $50 OBC instead of the coffee card.  Just another elite perk that is being changed.

  2. We were on the Ruby September 24 to October 1. There were 2 production shows Stardust and Color of the Wind. Stardust was just ok. We didn’t go to the other as we had seen it before. There was a comedian in the theater 2 other nights. He was not very funny at all. We didn’t go back. The other entertainer was a singing impressionist who was great. We went to both of his shows. If we are going to the theater we like to have dinner between 5 and 5:30. The shows start at 7:30.

  3. Years ago there was a movie my husband really wanted to see playing on MUTS so he braved the cold. The next day the same movie played in the warm Princess theater!

We will be on a coastal on the Ruby so

hopefully it won’t be too cold outside. Enjoy your cruise!

  4.

We will be on the Ruby in September. Does anyone know if they are sailing at full capacity and if the staffing shortages have been resolved. Are they showing movies in the theater and on MUTS.

  5. I got the same offer last night with $250 free play.  Tried 3 times and was on hold over an hour each time.  My PCP could not book it for me so she transferred me to the casino department.  Still on hold.  I guess I'll just scroll through cruise critic for a while.  It is really not good for Princess to send out these emails and not have adequate staff to handle the phone calls.  I'm not counting on being able to book but will try.  Not much else to do while we are just hanging out at home.

  6. Has anyone taken advantage of the new cancellation policy that has refundable OBC?  The cruise we have booked for March 28th is a move over cruise.  We were given the option of booking another cruise of the same length and same cabin category with our original cost of the cruise to be in the form of refundable OBC.  We are on the fence about cancelling but not sure about what would happen with the refundable OBC.  I have a call into our Personal Cruise Planner but have not heard back from her.  We also prepaid for the soda package which is showing up in our current booking.  Would that be refunded back to our credit card?

  7. We have a mover cruise scheduled for the end of March.  We have platinum insurance.  We may need to cancel due to a possible surgery for my husband.  We have refundable credit equal to the original cruise.  Does any one know what happens to the refundable credit?  We are hoping to not have to cancel but it's not looking too good.
