  1. Wow, I just went online to find the actual website to book the free stopover program and I couldn't find it anymore! I would call airfrance and see if they still offer the program but just don't advertise it.

If not, you could always pick flights that have just a really long layover.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Dont be sorry! You letting me know was more than enough help!

If anything what we might do is just take a train down to Venice from Paris ;) thanks for that help though!!

  2. Stacy, thanks for a wonderful review! Me and my husband are thinking about doing the same itinerary on the Sunshine next May. And we also want to stay in Paris a day or two. I do have a question for you? When you booked your flights, do you know if the "stay in Paris as long as you want, in between flights" is a all the time thing?? That would work out great for us!

Thanks again for review and great info! Its gonna help a lot for when we go on our cruise next year!

  3. Cold meds! 4 days into our cruise I started feeling like, my head was getting stopped up. sure enough that night I woke up and couldn't breathe. Had to pay 14 bucks at the ships store for a box of cold meds . I shall pack my own this time. You never know with 3000+ people on board.

  4. All stupid and loud drunks should be subjected to real life "man over board" drill. But with life vest of course ;)

On our cruise on the dream on Sept. They were dead serious about the muster drill. If they they heard laughing they would ask whoever to kindly respect, what what they trying explain. So to hear that kinda sucks.

    Hope they get it straight.

  6. We were at Tropicante in Sept and will be going back in May. We LOVED this place! We didnt want to leave and felt so at home. Steve is a wonderful guy and will talk to you all day long. He has a lot of interesting stories about him and about the town and such. You can beat the service you will get. The prices cant be beat. And the food is AWESOME!!

I cant say for sure what Maya Chan is like. But i do know i was doing research on it about a month ago. Because i thought it would be nice to try something different. As i was looking at pictures, the water did not impress me one bit. The water at Tropicante was BEAUTIFUL! you could see right through it! It was like aqua colored glass! And i never once saw any trash lying around at Tropicante either. They were very neat and orderly.

But i have seen a few people ask for pictures of Tropicante and i happen to have a few, i will post them for everybody!

  7. Can I ask where you got this dress?

igigi dot com is where i got the dress. They want a 180.00 for it. And i got it within a few days. And its a very popular dress, a lot of the sizes are sold out. And if you do order it, you might have to go size smaller, because the dress is made big. But it was pretty comfy. I loved it!

  8. We were on the Dream in Sep. and had a BLAST! but we were on the western cruise.

    To answer your questions:

There are 2 elegant nights. The first one will be on Sunday evening (which will be on the day you stop in the Bahamas) And the second will be on Thursday (which is a sea day)

As far as the pictures and face recognition goes. They start with taking your picture in front of a green screen, right before you go onto the ship. And when you go to the photo gallery they have Flat screen tv's you can interact with and you slide your Sign and Sail card and it reads your info. And whatever pictures you have taken on the ship they show up. Now the Kiosk werent open in the gallery for a couple days, i think they were having some issues. But they DO still put pictures up of everybody. Its actually kinda fun to stand around and look for your pictures and get to see all the goober people on the ship with you. LoL! OH and when you go to use the Kiosk and you start looking through your pix and you see somebody elses pictures. Dont be alarmed the Facial Recognition software, goes by certian features of your face. So if somebody has some similar it might show up. If this bothers you, just let somebody working in the Gallery know. Or if you had pictures taken and you cant find them or they dont show up. Make sure to ask. They will find them for you :D

If you have any other questions about the ship ask away!! Shes a BEAUTIFUL ship, yeah it gets kinda crowded. But we had so much fun we are going back on her in May. And i can not wait!

  9. The first thing i did on the Dream was go to the bar and ask when the Coconut Monkey Heads would be making their appearance. The bartender told me that Thurs. Well Thursday came and i hadnt seen them and asked another Bartender he had no clue. Asked another, he was pretty sure they werent gonna have any. I was kinda bummed and kinda gave up. Friday rolled around and we got back on the ship from Costa Maya and decided to go to dinner and as we were walking past the pool my husband said " BABY LOOK!!" And a server was carrying two around! So he stopped him. I was a very happy girl :D I dont know if there is a set day on them. Your best bet is to look at the pool bars. I found mine by the main pool. And a bunch of people had them. I saw them carrying them around for a good while.

I also got a blow fish, i believe it was Sunday, the first day at sea. And i told my hubby i HAD to have one!

I never saw the whale tail. But that is on my "to get" list on the next cruise.

I saw the Disco ball and really wanted it. But we were up on the Balcony for the "get ready" show and it was getting ready to start so i couldnt get one. And by the time we left, i was to tired to worry about it. And it was the last night on the ship. I believe they bring them out for the shows like "dancing in the streets" and "get ready" Thats where some people said they got theirs. But that is also on my "to get" list as well.

we also had 3 souvenir glasses i have a pink one and two clear ones. But one sadly cracked on the way home :(

But here is a pic of my coconut monkey heads and blow fish cup :D
