My bad, I have it backwards. The order of the dress code was reversed. Cruise elegant was on the second night, which was not American Feast night. American Feast night was on the third night, but the dress code was cruise casual. I think the reason they changed it was because it does not work to have cruise elegant on a port day. I think there is not enough time to get dressed up after getting back on board at 5:30 pm, which screws up the photo sales. I hope this makes sense. The whole process was confounded be the ship sailing late and not being able to make port on schedule. Sorry for the confusion.
I get it now. Thanks!
I was worried because a previous poster said had three nights of AT, and zero nights of American Feast. I'm glad to know AF was available on your 3-day.

I meant was American Feast served on this cruise.
Another poster said there was no AF on CE night on her cruise.

Did you have the American Feast menu on Cruise Elegant night?

Thank you Wanna_Cruize for the great review, and high-res scans!
Do you know why they didn't have American Feast on CE night?

It was not an overnight stay. Here is a post from yesterday's Imagination roll call:
Sis just called. They are still in port and about to leave. Apparently the tender ramp wasn't working and had to be repaired. -
When will Carnival release their May 2015 schedule? Specifically I'm looking for New Orleans cruises.
Thanks!

Sorry, wrong forum. Not sure how to delete this thread.
Carnival cancels, full refund: Trip Insurance Cost?

Thong's analogy to a car accident is both wrong and irrelevant. You DO get money back from the insurance company if you're in an accident. That's WHY you pay the premiums...to get money back should an accident happen. But the analogy is irrelevant because the OP probably cannot file a claim.
LKYGSR, the vast majority of travel insurance plans only cover the NON-REFUNDABLE costs. Also, many times travel insurance is secondary. So they will only pay out after you've recouped all you can from everyone else. Check the fine print, the details are there. If not, then consider yourself blessed :D
They may give you back some portion of the premium paid, depending on when you purchased the plan. Or they coud transfer the coverage to a future trip, as others have noted. I hope you can still find a cruise to enjoy!
