Thanks so much for your updates Peter, it’s been great reading them. Many thanks for the specific gym class info too - that’ll definitely help us with our pre cruise planning. Interesting to hear about Praia Di Vitoria too. We are docking there and also Ponta Delgada. The ship tour you did sounds delightful so I will check that out on our cruise personaliser to see if it’s available.

It’s very thoughtful of you Peter to post live updates and it’s good to know you are having a great time onboard. We are sailing on Oriana on the Canaries cruise on 25th April - it can’t come soon enough. I was wondering if you could let me know if there are any morning classes taking place in the gym on Oriana. We find that the gym offering varies considerably between cruise companies so whilst we never assume or bank on anything, it would be great to know in advance. Many thanks in advance.

I can imagine there will not be any doubt about that. I never made any judgement about others, it was a response to your post alone. As I said previously those of us who have contributed have done so positively to help cruzluver2 in their decision making. I feel it is very unfair and quite unnecessary that you should use their thread as a platform for your negativity.

Not trying to be difficult, but how can strangers on this forum tell you what you will like, especially this ship. Some on this thread have already told you that you will love it. I really don't know how they can say that.

I expect that when people contribute and take the time to answer questions that are posted, they do so out of a desire to help the person come to their own decision. I also think people who ask questions are intelligent enough to realise that they are just thoughts, opinions and experiences of others. Ultimately it's up to the person asking the question to make their own decision based on the information received.

I'm sure cruzluver2 has read the many reviews on Equinox during their research process already. The title of their post was "sell me on the Equinox". The sheer nature of the title will automatically prompt people to focus on the positives. I make no apologies for being enthusiastic and sharing my knowledge with cruzluver2. Furthermore, when someone starts a sentence "Not trying to be difficult", in my opinion, it usually means they are!

Book it, you'll love it. We've been on Equinox twice and Eclipse once. Both very similar and modern yet elegant. Enough going on around the ship so something for everyone to enjoy, yet no pressure if you just want to relax. Thoroughly recommend the Aqua Spa for peace and quiet. We love Celebrity and looking forward to trying Millennium in 2018.

Same here - that was back in November when I ordered but still nothing has arrived. Very poor on the part of Celebrity. Either get the issue with the supplier sorted or remove the facility to order altogether - at least customers would know what's what rather than waiting in the hope that they actually get their act together.

If it's any help, I've just had a conversation with someone at celebrity (uk) as I have a problem with my on line check in. Whilst discussing that I asked about luggage tags. I was informed celebrity have discovered their usual supplier has moved offices - hence no one receiving tags when they believed they had ordered them. The upshot is that no tags can be ordered so it's print your own from the booklet when it's issued by celebrity 4-5 weeks before departure or get them at the port. I suggested that they might want to think about posting something on the check in section of the website to advise customers so they are not waiting round for something that is never going to arrive! Excellent service from a luxury cruise line!
