  1. I learned that the ship's infirmary was great. My husband had to evacuated while in port at Grand Cayman. The shipboard staff were all incredible. The port agent that was there to "help" me was useless. The hospital was excellent and had a room for me to stay in. (this is coming from an old ER/ICU Nurse). Always have trip insurance and even on Medicare apply to your supplemental medical insurance - they paid for part of the hospital costs.

  2. My husband used a cpap and we cruised often. There is a plug in behind the bed - it is a European plug in, but we kept an adapter in the cpap bag, along with an extension cord and a mat to keep the machine from slipping. As soon as we got to the room, we just pulled the bed out a bit, unplugged one of the bedside laps and plugged his machine in, without having to worry about tripping over the cord, or taping it down. Worked great.

  3. We took a taxi there a few years ago - no trouble getting there and the aquarium was great, took us a while out in the sun to get a taxi back. If I were to do it again, I would try and get an assurance from someone to come and get us. As I remember, they weren't so helpful at the aquarium to help us.

  4. We liked the Breeze much better than the Sunshine. We book balconies and the cabin on the Sunshine seemed smaller and the bathroom was much smaller - I think the shower might have been bigger - but the rest of the bathroom was smaller. There are no mini-fridges on the Sunshine (unless you need one for meds) - but then it isn't built in and takes up space. Also the Sunshine left out of New Orleans and that is my least favorite embarkation port. If there will be more than 2 in the room go for the Breeze. We're going back this winter and trying a cove - can't wait!
