I have done posh before. You need to be in the early group to get posh and go directly to customer service. I prefer the aft balcony of the spa, less windy, but others love posh. The loungers are much more comfortable and you don't have to worry about rushing to get a spot, plus alcohol service is excellent.
I'm sailing on the Epic in February and have a spa pass and the UBP. Am I understanding you correctly that there is alcohol service in the spa? Can you supply details or have I just misunderstood?

Thanks to all who replied. (Well, all but one.)
I'll try to find an accommodating bartender/server and tip them sufficiently.

I'll be on the EPIC in Feb and I have the UBP. On all my previous cruises I usually bought a bucket of beer, both because it was slightly cheaper and also because I could bring several beers in their bucket of ice back to my cabin. I assume they won't let me get a bucket on the UBP. I know that's to prevent someone from getting drinks for others using the UBP. I understand that and would have no intention of doing that. But that does inconvenience me.
My question is how have others dealt with this? I like the convenience of having 3 or 4 cold beers in my cabin. Do I have to leave my cabin every time I want a beer? Or am I missing something? TIA.

That's why there's such a thing as class action lawsuits.

Here's the contract. Please tell me where it says room service is included in the fare. It says in paragraph 3. (a) "full board and ordinary vessel food" is included in your fare, not that room service is complimentary.

Full board and ordinary vessel food would include room service, since it was complimentary. The specialty restaurants are different, and were noted so, with specific charges for them. Perhaps you don't like complimentary being equated with free?

The contract never said this was free.
As much as this and several other recent NCL actions have left a bad taste in my mouth, they are not contractual issues. Your contract only guarantees your cruise fare...not taxes, not service charges, not gratuities, not prices of shore excursions you haven't paid for in advance, not prices the specialty restaurants, spa, of photographs, etc. The contract doesn't even guarantee the itinerary at the time you paid your fare will be followed.
It most certainly said room service was included in the fare. Now they are saying it is not. They are now charging for something that was agreed to by them to be included in the fare. That's fraud.

It is completely misleading to call this a "test". Tell that to the PAX on those two ships who are now being charged for something their contract said was free when the contract was finalized. Perhaps those PAX should "test" how amending or deleting the DSC is treated by NCL, which PAX have every right to do under that very same contract.

Nobody goes on the Epic anymore.
It's too crowded ;)
You should at least give Yogi Berra credit for the line.

Thanks for the clarifications.
