..24 hr ice tea/lemonade available on ship - no soda card needed

    ...tips for favorite bartender

....extra tip for your cabin stewart?

    ...drinks/snacks in different ports

...u get get free laynard frm casino for your s/s card-cashier

...don't need beach towels; beach towels are in your cabin

  2. Curious - was on Splendor week of 10/8 - hurricane matthew time = wondering how many people missed this cruise due to "matt". seen some cabin keys in mailboxes for a couple of days.

Thought cabin steward wasn't all that friendly/cabin on the very dusty side. Really wasn't crazy about the ship (wasn't the color, pink, either). Trying to find out what kind of ship i.e. conquest etc.was. This is my 14th cruise w/carnival.

  3. Just got off the Splendor last week and was asked if we wanted morning or evening service to clean cabin - I chose morning & towel animal was on bed in the am. The cabin was very dusty - ledges were dusty & glasses that are in the cabin was also dusty along top of ice bucket. feel like housekeeping is slacking.

  4. My son & bride left for their honeymoon yesterday on the Sunshine from NYC. Carnival confiscated their 12 bottles of water-saying no screw caps-just cans allowed. Is this something new - can only bring on cans now & no plastic bottles (water, juice, etc)?

  5. Arriving in GT in October-I know don't book carnival's excursions-they're offering snorkel excursion $60---2.5 hr trip. reviews are very good. should we book this or go on our own via taxi to beach/snorkel. do have own mask/snorkel-no fins. what to do...

  6. the honeymooners are sailing out of nyc to bermuda - i have trip planed following week out of miami - thought of taking both cruises - but other boat leave MIA on 10/8 @ 4:00pm - bermuda cruise arrives back in nyc on 10/8 - wuld be planning it a little too too close for that MIA ship departure.

  7. I booked a honeymoon cruise for my son and future daughter in law out of nyc. now i need to cancel as they are too nervous about zika virus. waiting on my rep to get back to me. Bermuda - not on the zika list according to carnival. I am sailing out on 10/8 cruise - or other wise would try to make it work...can't get down to miami by 330 - playing it too close out ny--laguardia. going to lose 1/2 payment by 9/1. bummer.:(

  8. There is still water, lemonade and tea available on Lido. You are not allowed to bring bottles of any kind on board anymore including water. (Too much smuggling booze in them apparently.) However, Carnival now sells a 12 pack of bottled water for a very reasonable $2.99 and it will be delivered to your stateroom - use bon voyage to order it. If you do change your mind and wish to bring soda on board, they must be in cans, 12 oz. or less and a limit of 12 per person. These too must be carried on and not packed in your luggage.

I know in the past I've carried on 12 pack of soda + some different mixers as I ordered booze from bon voyage (grapefruit juice+cranberry juice in plastic bottles) with no problems + 2 bottles of champagne - all in carry on...last cruise was 2014. can I still do this - cruising in october.

  9. I just booked a cruise for Oct 2016 with the $50 deposit - new promotion comes up with $50 OBC - spoke with CVP and reply was sure your entitled to that OBC but that will now cost you $10 more PP. pay $20 to get $50 OBC - reality is its only $30 OBC - worth it - not - you tell me.
