  1. You did ask what not to pack, so I won't add any more items to your list. Remember, you can decant your usual toiletries into smaller bottles. You can use mini sizes of things like Tylenol. And you can wash out things like swimsuits. Most things you might want to take "just in case" you can either live without for a few days or, if you must, buy it there. I once forgot to pack any underwear for my husband. Luckily our first stop was Key West and we were able to buy some there! And he learned his lesson: now he helps with the packing!

  2. I would like to carry a cross-body bag, but I have a pretty big chest, and I feel like the strap across my chest just draws even more attention to that area. So I usually just use a regular small purse, like this one. http://www.verabradley.com/product/Category/Crossbody/Mini-Hipster/1001725/defaultColorVariantId/178759/pc/638/c/0/sc/883/p/1001725.uts

Depending on what port we are in, I wear a travel wallet under my clothes.

  3. I have been there, but I didn't eat anything. You don't need to use the chair lift to get to the beach. It is a nice little stroll, less than 10 minutes, you really can't get lost.

We were there in the morning, and there were plenty of chairs in both sun and shade. We didn't try to claim a clamshell, but most of them appeared to be empty. Even in the afternoon, when I went back to the ship and my husband took photos, the beach was not crowded and there were lots of seats.

BUT the Crown Princess was the only ship at Mahogany Bay that day. I don't think it would be crazy even if there were two ships there, but I can't speak from personal experience.

  4. Just a suggestion for something that has helped me. I found a cane that folds into a tiny stool (okay, not comfy, but enough to get me off my feet for a minute.) This is such a great invention! It means I can go all sorts of places without a wheelchair. It is awesome! I got mine from Magellan's, but that one only goes up to 300 pounds. Has anyone else used something like this, maybe found one with a slightly bigger seat? I always get questions and comments about it when people see it, they want one too! I know everyone says it, but I am so glad I found this thread!
