I have a question. How does one go about taking a motorcycle on board? I have never seen that before, but does seem rather handy.

The photos are amazing and looking forward to my aft Cabin in a couple of weeks. Hopefully the will have to service tenders on port side and the ship facing out! Either way get a great view.

I believe the motorcycles are done through a third party tour group.   Try know it all Google.

  2. I tried a month ago for a mid January cruise and had to settle for a spot on the wait list.  I was notified today they had a spot open up . Hurray for us.

I think they will probably have several last minute cancelations or no shows.

  3. I would also suggest the BW in Elkridge rather than the BW on O'Donnell Street. That is a very industrial area, and not in the best part of town. If you can swing one of the hotels nearer to the Inner Harbor or Fell's Point, those are very nice areas with loads of great restaurants nearby. Little Italy, with all its great restaurants, is a stone's throw from Fell's Point. Regarding the great crab cakes at Timbuktu in Elkridge that another poster mentioned, I think they closed. The best crab cakes on that side of town would be G&M or Olive Grove (both restaurants are on Hammonds Ferry Road.) Oh darn, now I'm craving a good Maryland crab cake! It's one of the few things we really miss since moving from Maryland last year:(:)

Agree with their hotel choice. Timbuktu was still open in early June .

  4. We have stayed at the a Best Western in Elkridge our last 2 cruises, and highly recommend it. Rooms are clean, comfortable and newly renovated. Shuttle was quick and painless. There was no limit on number for the shuttle. Sign up for the time you want to go when when you register. Parking is well lit and safe so far.
