We disembarked Nieuw Amsterdam on Saturday the 17th at 7:30 am. When we left the ship we passed a table with a lot of irons, kettles, and heating pads waiting to be picked up from their owners.  

I see on our upcoming Nieuw Amsterdam cruise that on the daily

program it says that Mariner Society Welcome Aboard Lunch in the MDR noon....?

I brought my vase home also, packed in my suitcase.

Our Nieuw Amsterdam cruise February 10th will no longer be going to Key West, but instead it will go to Nassau 😞  Bummer!

No laundry facilities any longer. Their laundry service is wonderful though. You can fill a bag and send it out or choose to purchase the unlimited which includes pressing. For a 7 day cruise it is $59.50. It is listed under packages and gifts.

Do we need to get a visa for Turkey since we are coming on a cruise ship?

Yes, I tried that too but the HIA did not show up? 

I'm on the website and trying to look at pricing and chose the early booking HIA package, but it will not go through. But it is showing that it is available. Anyone else having the same issue? I've tried it on several different cruises.

Has anyone taken the cigar factory excursion? I see that it is 6 hours. Did you think that it was worth the time and money?

We are staying at the Doubletree near the port.

We will be arriving at Schippel Airport on May 5 and want to stay near the port for our cruise on the 6th. I heard that there is a train or subway from the airport to take us there in about 25 minutes. And when we deboard on May 20th we will need to get to the airport. Any suggestions for us? There will be 6 of us.

We just returned from the 11 night Eurodam cruise. We saw a family with 3 children.

We are scheduled to arrive into Vancouver at 7:00 a.m. on the Westerdam September 16th. Does anyone know if the arrival time has been accurate lately, or running early or late? We have a 11:15 a.m. flight departure and don't want to lose any sleep worrying. Thanks!

Thank you for the info! We are going on the Double Denali tour Sept 6th. Can you tell me if there were many electrical outlets in the cabin? Do they furnish hair dryers in the cabin, or can you request one from your room steward?

I know that you can pre purchase liquor for your room. Do you know if they also sell it on board that can be delivered to your room?
