I have been on a few cruises but have no idea what an Ultra Cruise is. Can someone explain for me ???

1.  pick by cruise line -  Carnival of course
2. I pick by the departure port  - We prefer Miami of Fort Lauderdale

3. I pick by the itinerary as a whole - We really like western or Southern

4. I pick by ship (either a new one or one we loved previously) 

5. I pick by NEW ports to us   - Always like to go to new places

6. I pick by ports we love

We usually tip $5 a bag and carry 4 bags with us. I was once told by a baggage guy in Miami that without a tip your bag could end up leaving the port with a homeless person or just left on the curb with no ID on them. Nice guy!!!

We were on the Glory the 2nd week in January. We loved the ship and loved the cruise only problem was the weather didn't cooperate for us. This ship was a lot of fun. We got to know one of the lounge singers and spent our nights in the casino and then watching Daniel entertain us the rest of the evening. Great guy good show...

I checked every day for the last month before our last cruise and got nothing. But... We had a 12:00 noon check-in time. When we got to the port in Miami we unloaded our luggage and walked right in to the terminal and on the boat with nothing but our boarding passes. Best embarkation ever for my wife and I.

We are 5 days out as of today and still have not hit it. I check at least 5 times a day so it may be sold out completely now. I kick myself for not watching for it to become available after we booked.... Just have to get it next time.

What is the best way to get there ???

Wife and I get on the Glory 01/13/18 can't wait. Count down says 22 days but we leave 3 days ahead of the cruise so we can wonder around Miami with some friend who live there and get a great cuban sandwich from Versi before we leave. This will be our first time on the Glory so your pictures and review have been great. Can't wait to leave!!!

It could all be a conspiracy by the Russians. They may have hacked into the Carnival TV broadcasts. Probably hired by Norwegian or Princess to get ahead of Carnival!

Also, OP, my wife and I don't care much for kids on cruises, so we schedule them for when kids are in school. (Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan). We have found that the number of kids on cruises is drastically reduced. Perhaps you could try that?

My wife and I are the same way. We usually book in January when all the kids have gone back to school. I love my kids but they are grown and moved away. My grand kids visit but they go home when they are done with us. So leave the kids home and out of the Pub. Who wants to drink and swear and tell off color jokes with kids around...

We go camping in our Motor home and try to stay close to the beach's on the east coast...

My wife and I will be on the Conquest 1/21/17. Can someone tell me how I can get registered for the chefs table dinner ???

I think you should set up ground rules for the table. Like wait 5 minutes and you aren't there start without you. No big deal then you don't have to worry about informing people. With luck everyone else at the table would agree to the same time limit...

There must be one in Roatan Hoduras as well. I was just packing for my upcoming cruise and found a shirt from there. That stop must have been near the end of our trip because I just don't remember it at all :D

There is not....Cozumel and Belize have one though if that is on your itinerary

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the MDR menu on Sunshine? I had found one for our last cruise but can't remember where I got it from. We're sailing on the 31st and just would like to see the choices for each night in the MDR. Thanks for reading...

My lovely wife and I are booked in 9202 just down the hall a couple of rooms from the door to all of the outdoor activities. We like to sleep with the balcony door open so we can hear the ocean. I wonder if it will be loud? We have stayed just below the Lido on a previous cruise and weren't happy with the noise from above at all...

Has anyone stayed in a balcony on the Sunshine ? We're booked for January 31st, 2015 in room 9202 just wondering if anyone has had any issues with this room or can offer any insight...

I saw that someone else earlier in this forum asked about what the casino package was. I also would like to know what this is and how do you get a discount on your cruise rate with it ???
