Cruising RCL to Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Crete and Ephesus (9/11/22) and several of the excursions I would have taken are sold out. I am looking into booking excursions from local sources as I have done in the past in Italy. 

How do you know if your cruise/ship is only allowing cruiseline excursions? I see no alerts on the RCL website, nor is there covid testing info for ports, etc. 

Can anyone provide some insight?

I am so glad to find this thread. Reside in US, cruising out of Venice on MSC June 28th. US under Level 4 travel restriction to Veneto but I see flights still scheduled (haven't purchased yet). I have excellent travel insurance which even covers quarantine. I can rebook for October but I understand that will be cooler and rainier. I simply do not know what to do.

Did you do this tour? My husband and I are looking at this one and I am wondering if I will feel like I wussed out by driving thru the forest

Gee, I don't know how to make my reply any cleared.

 

It was a combo tour -- both driving and walking. We rode on a bus through the rain forest and make stops at points of interest where we taken on guided walking tours.

 

Other excursions there might be somewhat different but some driving would be needed because it's a large area.

Which cruise line was this on? I am travelling RCL and it appears that there are 2 tours of the rainforest. One is more "hiking" and the other is a combo.....I think....

I am a lively 62 year old w/ a young 69 year old husband. We want to do the PR rainforest and have two choices, walk or bus

I hate to wuss out and bus it ......

has anyone done the walking tour of the rainforest?

It appears to book an OTW on Nellies Beach I must inquire onboard. Can someone verify or explain how to rent before sailing date?

When one looks at the excursion listing it appears that the cabana is $250 pp not per cabana.....I just cannot afford a $500 day.....then I see posts that it is a flat rate of $250. Can someone clarify?
