We just got off the Elation Thursday, brought one of those large plastic cups with straws (looks like a super sized fast food cup) and they filled it up for us on bubbles

We stayed at the holiday Inn downtown under the cruise rate last weekend pre cruise. They had a shuttle to port that we weren't expecting as it says online we are responsible both ways, added bonus. Very nice hotel, and the park and stay worked well for us

when our triumph cruise was cancelled last year we decided to take the money and go to Disney, I have 3 girls ages 7/10/13. To say we were disappointed in Disney (all of us) is an understatement. Not only did I spend at least 3X's what a cruise with all the bells and whistles would have cost, crowds were crazy and I just didn't feel that we got our moneys worth. My girls actually very much enjoyed Universal, and IF we were to go back, that's where my $$ would go. I personally would rather take the family on a cruise, its a lot less stress, I don't feel like im hemorrhaging money, and its more quality time....just my two cents

When we were on the magic we saw groups of girls eating dinner in the mdr and they looked to be having a great time. Why not make some friends and all eat together in the MDR, as long as your not rowdy it would be a great time

I think that when someone is bashing a product that they have no personal experience with but they perceive it to be inferior, they are doing it just to make themselves feel superior. If that makes sense. I guess what I am saying is it speaks more to the character and personality of the basher. Some need to find ways of boosting there hollow self esteem.

This!! Agreed, you find it everywhere, from the clothes you wear to the car you drive, to the neighborhood you live in

I don't actually leave till next week, however, we always cruise this time of year and have always had beautiful weather and seas. Now that I admit that, hopefully it will stay true. Have a great trip!

chocolate extravaganza.....we always seem to miss it:eek:

the cakes are nice looking, and great tasting, and I think well worth the price point. You can get chocolate chip cookies via room service and they are very tasty. Also, I saw a review recently where someone got a medium canape tray, it looked very nice but I remember the person saying for 5 people, I believe 3 were son's, it was way too much, there was a picture and it was a large tray,

On fare viewer you need to take it one step further, choose the rate you are looking at and it will bring up a menu with the catagory prices based on that rate

We did a ship excursion, it was a dolpine swim, we also went to dr. cave beach, we walked down the strip to the pork pit.....best jerk EVER!!!!!! That place totally made our trip. we were also offered weed while eating, and were asked on the walk back, funny though, walking a short way behind the gentlman that offered to sell it to us was a cop...:rolleyes: I really don't like ship excursions, ours was filled with slow people that don't listen, but if I were going anywhere other then the general port area there I would advise it

I can seeing giving charges or work they can prove was in direct relation to the incident. If you have legitimate medical bills directly related to it, missed work that wasn't covered by the extra $500 they were given, phone charges incurred when they used them on the cruise....those sorts of things to me are a no brainer, but getting $$ just because you were on the cruise in addition to all they did I think is unnecessary

I think it's ridiculous, and it's funny that it's so very few, if that doesn't through up a caution flag for the judge I don't know what would.

I loved the cucina, we did the lunch and dinner, it was my favorite. Also, there is a great little area to sit on the side of the waterworks area on the

"2nd" story, you get just a little spray from the water and it keeps you nice and refreshed.

passion island is wonderful and I had the best time there, but I would not go for the food. Spaghetti on a buffet in mexico? No thanks. The food is/was subpar at best, the drinks do the trick, but the bar is very basic. Snorkeling is not that great near the beach at Passion island, don't know if you move out of the swimming area if it gets better, its very sandy, great for swimming, but not the reef like other places. Never been to Nachi (but I will be soon) so can't comment on that.

We did this tour when we cruised the magic, this was before fttf, I just went straight to the excursion desk when we boarded, was the first one to sign uo. Good luck and have fun!

Along with what has been posted, ill add zydeco cruisers site, my favorite part is he has all the menus on there, along with ship pictures. One of my favorite pastimes is looking at the menus deciding what I will eat :)

If you go to zydeco cruise r's page (just google zydeco cruiser) he has two recent picture reviews of elation that will give you a good idea of the ship
