We sailed in June to Alaska out of Vancouver and yes we were required to first do ArrivCan flying into Vancouver and then again to board the ship. All in all it was pretty much a non-event after filling in the ArrivCan. It is tied into your passport so no one even requested ArrivCan since they already knew we were good to go.
When you did the ArriveCan second time for the cruise, did you have to create a new account? Is there a link to add another one using the same account? I just completed and received a receipt for flying into Canada, but can't seem to locate where I can enter and submit 2nd time for the cruise.

Jim,
I'm waiting to hear how the check-in went with the Bermuda Travel Authorization. I know you were successful, but I wonder how many people had problems. I'm seeing some reports that Bermuda is swamped and may not have the computer support to process all of these applications. I'm wondering how Celebrity handles the people that weren't successful.
We boarded before noon today, very quick (we had our Bermuda TA approved yesterday afternoon thank goodness). Saw on FB posting, there were couple of guys from Bermuda processing TA for the people who didnt have approvals (or did not know of the requirements), apparently 400 of 1200 passengers did not have approvals...
We already hit the Martini Bar (Lycheemartini was very good I might add...thanks Yopi at the Martini bar, he did very good), and off to Sushi on Five for light lunch...with some sake off course. We had the entire restaurant for ourselves!!! 😁

Your right. Next stop is Lisbon.
Have you decided whether you are going to pre-file for the Silhouette TA? I'm still sitting on the fence to see if Celebrity announces anything next week.
Nope, going to wait and see. Covid test results must be uploaded anyway, which can't be done till 2 days prior to boarding day.

If I recall the Oceania cruise it was not a 1st stop and thus all aboard would have to be tested 4 days prior to arrival.
It was Oceania Riviera, Bermuda was its 1st stop, enroute to Europe i believe. So they filled out the online form and uploaded their Covid test results 2 days prior to the boarding day (in Miami).

Did they have to complete it in advance of boarding, i.e. from home etc or did they do it on the ship? Also, where did they get the form, direct from Oceania or another source?
They filled out in advance, and loaded test results online (Bermuda's website).

Wow!
I wonder if they're getting their $40 back, lol!
I have a feeling that may happen to us on the Silhouette TA in April.
They were told they're getting $50 OBC

Couple of our friends boarded Oceania ship yesterday, they were required to complete the form for Bermuda and pay $40 fee. But no one checked and asked for the form during the boarding process. And...after all that, yesterday afternoon passengers were notified they were no longer going to Bermuda, instead replaced by Bahamas. Huh! Interesting!

Thanks everyone for feedback. We had Pinnacle dinner last night, had Canaletto tonight and asked staff to charge us for the dinner since we're going to Tamarind tomorrow for complimentary dinner 😀.

Just checked our bid for Aqua balcony for 1/29 sailing on Reflection, and it's locked. Hopefully we get our upgrade, if not, no big deal...we booked our 2/5 sailing on Aqua. 😀

Hello all... please remind us? Mariner benefit chart is not very clear which states two complimentary dinners in your choice of Pinnacle Grill, Tamarind, or Canaletto. Is it per cabin or per member? My husband and I both are 5 stars.

Thanks for your review. We'll be boarding on January 2nd for 4 weeks.
Quick question, what is the current Wifi pricing on Rotterdam? It doesn't appear it can be purchased online before boarding.

On Horizon, they put it on our room card. ($25 free play). Ended up cashing out $115 between my husband & I. Not bad spending 5 minutes on slot machines with free play 🙂
Woohoo, 2nd week on board the Horizon, cashed out another $58+ from $25 free play! 😀

Does anyone have the fun times for horizon? I’m trying to find out the show times.
It's all on the Carnival Hub App these days, they don't have printouts in your cabin anymore. I believe you can get one from the guest services.

Some ships, like Valor, simply hand you $25 cash (which is just as good as money!) in lieu of machine credits.

On board the Horizon now (on for 3 weeks, 11/7 - 11/27). I remember reading earlier post about the Platinum/Diamond Reunion party.... attended the reception this afternoon. Wasn't expecting much after reading negative previous post, only lasted for a short 30 min but we did enjoy it, with free flowing cocktails. We also did go down to the casino to claim $25 play money tonight, we don't do casino but hey it's free, why waste it right? $25 is $25! Agree with not so impressive surprise VIFP stuff we picked up from the photo place, luggage tags and pins. At least free laundry perks are still usable 😁
Happy cruising!

Is there Loyalty Ambassador desk (?) On board the Horizon? Where is it located?

I forgot to specify that when we were on the Horizon and Panorama, if you were a table player you would get the Fun Chips, and if you were a slots player the $25 was added to your players bank on your S & S card.
So, how do you check if $25 is added on your ship card?
-
Is there a letter in your cabin with list of platinum benefits (and how to claim them)? We're boarding Horizon tomorrow 🙂

Or you can get cash back via the casino slot machine.
Hmmm... I remember people were doing that while back, can you still do that?
Just learned that no Chef's table on Symphony... well... more sushi is not a bad idea 😉
-
Thanks for the info, I'm sure we'll find something to spend the OBC. 🙂Thinking Chef's table maybe... Anyone done Chef's table on Symphony recently?
-
Here is a question, someone here may know the answer... Due to price drops after the final payment date, we received OBC from Royal for our upcoming Symphony cruise in late November. My question is whether this OBC is refundable, or non-refundable?
Thanks in advance 🙂
