Does anyone know which cabins are used on the Silhouette to isolate Covid passengers?

My App appeared to lose parts of the downloaded info, but it was no problem.

With staggered arrival times and reduced capacity, the terminal felt strangely empty. We were dropped off at the port, so were directed to the testing centre waited a few minutes for the result and then proceeded thru check in and waited in the lounge until boarding.

The whole process was efficient and stress free.

I thought she was originally due to go into dry dock last November.

I recently sailed past the QM2 while it was berthed in Southampton.

As an aside, I've just got back from a first cruise on Princess and I was pleased to find that the music around the ship was excellent and was the equivalent of Celebrity several years ago. The two production shows were also very much better than Celebrity's current offerings.

Does anyone know if it is possible to make a reservation without it being All Inclusive? I'm in the UK, so our terms and conditions might be different to the US, but I would much prefer to use my Elite Plus perks and pay a reduced fare.

Last time we were in Ocho Rios we used hired a local taxi for half a day. We visited Noel Coward's House (Firefly) and the Sun Valley Plantation. Back near the port the driver took us to an observation point where we could watch others climbing the falls without us getting our feet wet!

P&O have announced the cancellation of its world cruise sailing from Southampton in Jan 2021.

I wonder if Cunard will be doing the same with QM2 and Queen Victoria?

Looks as though another on of my cruises will be cancelled.

I wonder if the World cruise would have more chance of going ahead if it went out via Dubai?

I read in a UK newspaper that South Africa is not allowing International tourists into the country until Feb 2021.

I wonder what effect that will have on the 2021 world cruise?

According to the internet, the QM2 is heading west out of the English Channel. Does anyone know where she is going?

My next cruise is not until May 24th and I'm hoping that, by then, Cunard will have a clear and definite refund policy.

QM2 has now turned about and is heading towards Durban with an ETA of 13.00 30th - local time

Does anyone know what is happening to the QM2? It was due to dock in Durban, but it appeared to be sailing at slow speed a few miles offshore and then it was anchored outside the port.

It is now said to be sailing at 11 knots away from Durban!

I cant swim, so I thought I was being very brave. It was a most enjoyable experience and probably my only chance to see what goes on under the waves.

Pick up from the pier and then the boat takes you out to a small atoll offshore. Its quite interesting watching everyone squeeze into their diving suits - especially after over indulging on the cruise.

You explore the coral about 15 feet below the boat and various fish swim around. Some are well known to the lead diver and are obviously regulars around the reef.

I see you arrived at Southampton at 20.00 on the 7th. Was there any explanation for this latest twist to the saga?
