The martini bar,after 2 or 3,gets quite noisey,but the biggest distraction is when the "disk jockey" sets up and starts his bom bom machine,that's when I have to leave,or put in ear plugs !

Hi again,OBC is not free,you've paid for it already,it may feel free,but you end up buying stuff that you don't need,adds to the weight of the cases if you fly.I've come home with coffee mugs,do dads,just to use the OBC. Plus,this keeps the merchants on board happy and in business and the wives happy !!!

You will get even more perks if you go on more cruises and finally reach the big Z class or why not start booking suites,big ones such as the owners suite,special dining room,M/C,butlers taking care of you,what bliss,haha !

The so-called credit is not free,you've paid for it when you booked your cruise,it's to make you feel your getting something,you have to use it or lose it,how do you think all the shops,etc,etc, stay in business ? Reduce the fare by the same amount but people would not spend money on the ship, I think there is no more OBR ,I may be wrong on this ?

I'm reading all these loftily posts , wonderfull,great,the only problem,in my mind,is that a lot of people just don't give a damm what a sign says,there kids are better than others,they paid money for a cruise,screw you,if my kid wants to go into a adult pool and craps,well there is always some flunky to clean it up,why should I worry about other people.These are jerks,when at home,throw garbage around,park cars in your spot,make a lot of noise at nite and complain about everything.PS,cabin att.is no good,doesn't make up the cabin fast enough,food on board is not to there liking,etc,etc.l've seen a lot of these jerks in all my years of cruising,( 26+ ) and will see more !

I really would like a faucet in the B/ R,that you could wash your face in without getting a scar on your forehead like the ones on the S class ships, the dummy that designed those should be boiled in oil,+ some decent hangers & hooks,I've cruised a lot,I could come up with a few more,haha

The bread on board depends on the baker,he follows a recipe,but I find the bread changes from ship to ship,( I am fussy,I bake my own at home ). I like a good crust & flavor & have had talks with the baker on board,( waste of time ) good luck to you,enjoy !

When home,I have a friend who sells kitchen tools,he always tells me about the dirty back rooms,( kitchens ).Cruise ships are super clean ,a lot of pass.are slobs,leave the BRs not washing hands,handle & pick over apples & fruit,drop tongs on the deck,put them back,look over food,take,put back,( not to there liking ),let's face it,people are slobs,I do all the clean ups required,never got sick,don't worry about it.you can't fight them all !

Hopefully we will also board on Jan,19,I think that normly,d5 or and 6 have all the wonderful shops,casino,art shows & other stuff that you can't do without.Besides,what else can you do with the outstanding gift from Cel, OB Credits,so nice to spend,so neat,doesn't really feel like it's coming out of your wallet ! Ha ha ha

Being booked on the Edge,Jan,2019,I can hardly wait for such a wonderful thrill,just imagine the M/C going up & down,what a thrill,just to be on the first ocean liner to have this,I really would like to meet the team or person that dreamed this amazing concept up.I believe this thing must really sail in a lake,not a ocean,( WAVES ) Most stupid thing I have ever seen,I only hope the ship is anchored when it is going up & down,hope it works,this is why fares are going up & up to pay for these wonderful ideas !

Maybe just thinking,perhaps a new special room service menu,( extra charge of course ) You could order,not have the knock at the state rm door,then,a friendly wave & smile form your own balcony sliding door,and there it is,special delivery,pipeing hot & fresh,enjoy the magic carpet,what fun it will be,you can stay in your suite the whole cruise,not mix with the lesser class on board,ha,ha !

Gee,I guess C/C are still around after 8 yrs,also debit cards,much more handy than cash or trv checks,plus you are not charged for screw ups,unless you hand cards around to every deadbeat on the street !

I my self,am very fussy,always bring my own goodies aboard,jams,instant coffee mixes,ketchup,sugar,mustard,etc,etc.My D/H says I am out of my mind,but I know what I enjoy,I only like chunky P/B & the P/B on board just does not make me happy,so I may start to bring some Skippy along on our next cruise,I don't use Splenda or Stevia,bring your own,it does not weigh that much,so carry it !

You can always work out in the (gym) with weights,tread mills,cardio Mach.run around the deck,walk,not pay a dime,smile at the staff,of course,you can eat less & stay in shape Don't spend money,ha ha

When we go on a cruise,DH & I bring $2.00 bills.( brand new), give to all in crew,most keep as good luck,some spend,always get smiles,I have seen others do same,it's up to you !

1) I carry my baggage up and down the hall making sure I run into every door

 

 

 

2) I always buy two or three of the drinks of the day.

 

 

 

3) for the first hour, I put on my Life Jacket and walk around with my ship map asking every person I see "Where is the laundromat."

 

 

 

4) Then I go to the pool, light my pipe, block out five or six lounges, strip down to my thong, turn on my boombox and proceed to relax. - It is MY cruise.

I myself,go hungry the day before & am so ready to scoff up all that great food in the grill,l usually take up a full table,grab extra chairs,& tell all that my friends are coming,then on lower decks,I open fire doors & tell the newbys the rooms are really ready,such fun,Many more things to do,I can hardly wait to board,see you all,bye.

Why not worry about burgers & dogs,go to the grill & get a fresh grilled steak for lunch,just ask,with a smile,the grill guy will make it for you,no charge !!

People that have real money,lots of it,don't flaunt it,keep quiet about it,I for one,don't wear any jewelry,no watch,( I can easily afford one),but in my clubs,that would be "bad taste ". People that throw money around just want to impress others,l myself,do not dress up,just want to be comfortable,that's my take on cruises !

I really enjoy all the comments about the food and the complaints,I wonder what people eat when they are home.l eat in the grill every morning & for lunch,2 hard-boiled eggs & fruits,a salad for lunch,no gopp on the salad,& select dining at nite.love it,no problems.l don't go on a cruise to eat pizza,hot dogs & other crap,tend to avoid desserts & cake,I don't want to go home with 50 lbs over hanging my belt,go to the gym.Ships are great,crew is wonderful,just enjoy yourself & stop complaining !

I wonder what you eat when you are at home and go out to dinner,probably tip 5% and then complain about the decor.
