At the Hilton, we did not use water shoes. The beach is lovely white sand. We wore our bathing suits with cover-ups and flipflops and we were fine. The dining area is a casual outside eating area.

My husband and I had a day pass for the Hilton Curacao 2 weeks ago. We loved it. The taxi was $20. each way. The ride to the resort and to the port was about 10 minutes each way. We were able to go in the morning and stay till dinner time. The pool was beautiful and we stayed in the bathtub temperature water almost all day. There were umbrellas, lounge chairs and towels to use. There is a white sand beach to use also. The lunch we had was delicious. We ordered right off the menu. Many tempting choices. It was a very relaxing day of lovely water and refreshing water. We would definitely go again.

We have never eaten at Giovanni's before. We will be on board the Serenade in a couple of weeks and are booked to dine at Giovanni's for my husband's birthday.

 

What are your favorite items to order at Giovanni's?

When we book our cruises we have always chosen our room. We have a cruise booked for this fall and the "Let Us Choose" bookings are such a good price that I am tempted to rebook and let Royal choose our room. I am just afraid we will get a location that we don't like.

 

I am looking for advice and any information from some who have let Royal book their room. Please tell me about your experience.

We will be in St Thomas on November 3, 2016, on the Serenade of the seas (a smaller Radiance class ship). Will we be docked at Havensight or Crown Bay?

How do you you get to the helipad on the Serenade?

Hi I just booked the 12 night 2016 Beantown to Beaches cruise (Boston to the Caribbean).

 

I am looking for info about the 2015 Serenade repo. cruise. Any info is great. Am especially looking for Menu order, Compasses from that cruise. Anything would help.

Can someone tell me at what location and on what deck do we board the Serenade?

On the Brilliance in 16 days....really really looking forward to it.

We've had a pretty traumatic year & this cruise is coming right when we really need it.

Our countdown was 360 when we booked it on board (same cruise just a year later). 13 day aboard the wonderful brilliance of the Seas!!

We don't do specialty restaurants.

Between the cruise costs, the flights, and hotels before and after and Canadian to U.S dollar exchange, we spend a lot of money.

I love the buns with the seeds on top...YUM!

 

I had a dessert at the Windjammer one day at lunch called Strawberry Napoleon...absolutely divine!

On which level of the Main Dining room are MTD diners served on the Brilliance?

Which RCCL ships have a closed solarium? I know the Brilliance does. Help anyone?

If I am on a ship with a heated pool (closed Solarium) I love to spend time in the pool swimming and floating.

If the pool is too cold, my favorite activity is the ice show or reading in a quiet spot.

What happens if you have made reservations for MTD and can't make that time on a night. DO you just go and wait in line or do you go to the Windjammer?

Does IOS have free steam rooms & showers?

We are sailing on the IOS in January--is it true that you can have a complementary breakfast in Johnny Rocets?

If you have done the Sonesta Great Bay Resort day pass, did you like it? Was it worth the money? What were the drinks and food offered? Any opinions or advice is welcome.

DH and I were on a cruise in October. We went snorkeling in Barbados....absolutely loved it. Saw a shipwreck and swam with sea turtles. The water was gorgeous and warm. I would highly recommend Action Charters. There were unlimited drinks & lunch included. The tour guys were friendly and helpful.
