I know you're not allowed to bring any plastic water or soda bottles on board, but are you still allowed to bring on Listerine mouth rinse in a large bottle. Yes, it's really Mouthwash and not alcohol😂🤣

We always stay at Dania Beach Springhill suites. They have a free airport shuttle and free breakfast. It's a short cab ride or paid hotel shuttle to the port. Right now its $165.00/ night with the AAA rate.

We've certainly used it for an 11:30 departure with no problem. If I remember correctly, they say no flights before 11 a.m.

Thank you both for the great ideas! I knew I could count on Cruise Critic followers.

I'll be traveling to Guadalupe and I understand they only accept Euros. I'm going on a tour, so will probably only need a small amount for tips. My local bank and AAA only do larger sums in exchange for Euros. Will I be able to exchange about $50 US at the front desk? Thank you.

I've gotten them at Kroger's and Amazon.

Kenato, I was wondering if the Vista suites have night lights in the bathroom like some of the older re-fitted ships? Thanks

Dave, I am so sorry your trip is coming to an end. I have THOROUGHLY
ENJOYED "going along" on the trip! Your photos and details( and humor) have been amazing. I'm glad you had a beautiful looking day for your last port. I look forward to reading your next cruising adventure. Have a safe trip home! Terri

I love your sense of humor....."a long day to Tipperary" LOL! REALLY enjoying your dialogue and it's giving me a great geography refresher, too. Hope it's a smooth trip back across the pond.

We've stayed at Springhill Suites which is directly across the street from the pier. It was a Very easy walk out of the hotel, down the sidewalk and across the crosswalk and to the luggage drop off outside the terminal. A lot of other passengers were walking with us. We'd definitely do the same next time.

What a Perfect day! Beautiful weather, Awesome scenery, splitpea soup and Santa Claus! Who could ask for more?? Thanks again for taking us along.

Really enjoying this trip so far. Loved the previous day's pics of the Puffin and then the "government Tap Room". Thanks

Thanks for doing your Blog, Dave. I've "sailed with you" on many of your other trips, glad I won't have to miss out on this one. Hope it's smooth sailing!
Thanks, Terri

We like these bump out cabins - they are a bi larger (or so it seems) plus we like the ability to see forward, If it is windy, we just stay in the area that is "normal".
I totally agree with this! You have a little extra area inside the cabin, too. This is a good area for a chair or extra luggage.

I don't know what kind of room you're in, but I do know the Signature suites also have the updated TV system.

I didn't realize how much I missed seeing the daily location report. Thanks for posting it!!

We've had this the last two years on Gala night on the Oosterdam. Nice little touch, IMO. We've always had fixed seating.
-
I will say that we have cruised during final 4 week and have been able to see the games on TV in our cabin and in certain bars. ENJOY!
-
We sailed the Oosterdam the last 3 years and I don't ever remember hearing any Karaoke. They may have had a "talent show" one time.

This is going off subject, but does the Volendam's "Eggs Benedict " change over to become the "Asian station" at lunch time? Having not sailed this class ship in a Long time, I'm hoping it also has an Asian station.
-
No problem....the Oosterdam's casino is no smoking!
-
We have stayed in a signature suite since the make over of the Oosterdam. It is now done in Browns and tans....much more subtle tones. I imagine the Vista suites are the same.

My husband and I each received a smaller check yesterday from our cruise in Feb. of 2017.

Yes, we just used it in Ft Lauderdale 2 wks ago with SouthWest. I can't remember if American Air was one of the choices, but I'd bet it was.
Two Midwesterners escape winter on the Eurodam.

The last time we were on for the Super Bowl, a Big pre-party and viewing were held in the main showroom. That was on the Oosterdam. Also, that was pre pandemic.
