I don't see how this is anyone's fault but your own?

Certainly your right to not book with Carnival anymore for any reason, but to blame them because you forgot your payment date is beyond the pale in my opinion.

I forgot to pay my water bill one month and got a late fee. I called and asked them to waive it as it was a mistake, but they declined and I paid it. I didn't blame their nonexistent "glitches" for my forgetting to pay the bill. It was my fault.

    I agree with you 100%

  2. 1. I hope you mean August 22nd!

    2. I'm on the cruise too and it took me quite a while shortly after 12 midnight. Keep trying. Close your browser and reopen it. If you have more than one browser, try  alternating.

    3. Are you in the group on the faces page that shall not be named??

Has anybody recently been on the Magic, we sailed on the first sailing from New York to Bermuda, it was a mess.  Took us over 2 1/2 hours to get onboard and we went at our scheduled time (nobody pays any attention to that though).  We are travelling again on 8/22 and wondering if it has gotten better or should we just wait and go on later in the afternoon.  We are platinum however that doesn't matter right now, there is one small part of check in at the end that they have a dedicated line for but that's it.  I think we had to go through 4 check in lines and still needed to show boarding pass to get on the ship....

See you onboard the Magic on the 22nd.

  4. Does anyone know what Carnival's policy is about bringing Segway scooters onboard? I know I can not use them on the ship. I would like to have one for use on ports.  All I can find on the Carnival website is info about Segway tours in the ports.

Going on the Magic in August to San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Grand Turk.

  5. This is direct from TSA.gov website.   Karen

    Scissors

Carry On Bags: Yes (Special Instructions)
    Checked Bags: Yes

If packed in carry-on, they must be less than 4 inches from the pivot point.

Any sharp objects in checked bags should be sheathed or securely wrapped to prevent injury to baggage handlers and inspectors.

The final decision rests with the TSA officer on whether an item is allowed through the checkpoint.
