  1. Thank you Pops and Rod. It's sad when a Carnival rep gives you wrong information. He also told me that there is a water fountain, which is the only other option for beverages other than the bar and meals.

I'm thankful for this forum so that I can get the right answer. The Cheers program really seemed to lose it's value if the diet cokes I need (instead of coffee) in the morning all count toward the 15 count.

  2. Sweetspot- free drinks without Cheers or Bubbles are: 'tap' water, lemonade, ice tea, juice at breakfast, coffee (not specialty) and hot chocolate (not specialty).

Thank you so much for answering the question! Do you know if they are accessible all day or just during meals? I drink so much water and ice tea all day normally. I was hoping I would be able to have access to water or ice tea while sitting on the pool deck.

  3. Confused! I just booked my first Carnival cruise and while very familiar with other cruiselines, I know nothing about Carnival. I attempted to purchase the Cheers program and it wouldn't allow me to saying I had already purchased the program (I hadn't). So I had to call to complete the purchase. When I spoke with the Carnival rep in the "Fun" department he said that all regular sodas (ex diet Coke) are included as part of your 15 drinks in Cheers drink plan. I questioned him, sure they were suppose to be unlimited, because it wasn't what I read on here or elsewhere but he confirmed under the new plan regular soda is part of the plan.

Also, on Disney they have free drink stations for soda, ice tea, water etc. Royal Caribbean had water and ice tea available self serve all day. Is there anything like this on the Carnival Victory or do you have to buy bottled water to drink water?
