  1. When it's possible for you, I would advice you to include Kotor, Montenegro in your itinerary. That's a very nice town in the most beautiful bay in the Adriatic Sea.

We did that last year with the Vision of the Seas, which we thought it was a very nice ship with a very nice crew and a very nice itinerary.

  2. I was trying to book dining for Anthem cruise April 2017. No choices at all to pick from. I could choose a year out for my cruise on the Anthem this past March. Something is up. I love Dynamic Dining but think food and choices could be improved. If they go to MTD perhaps they can have classic choices then focus on specials each evening. Change it up each evening.

That is way too early to jump to conclusions. I could book those with 90 days to go

  3. If this does come to fruition, do you think they would offer some OBC for folks (like me) who already have their Choice reservations complete and chose the Anthem due to Dynamic Dining? I've got 10 nights of reservations I had to plan. I figure I'd take some OBC and then use them towards specialty dining to offset RC's cluster of a dining situation.

Choice will change to MTD on deck 4. I guess the outstanding reservations will still be valid there.

  4. Did you have any problem booking either the North Star or Rip Cord by Fly? RCI is not allowing reservation online for the May 14th cruise, but those are two new features I would like to try on this great ship. Staying on deck 11244. Also am flying into EWR on Friday and staying at the Newark Airport Marriott right on the property. Have not been able to tie down a way or cost to get to the dock and back yet. Otherwise really looking forward to Bermuda! Coming up from Florida but was born in Philadelphia. Enjoy the rest of your Trip:)

Hi, I will also be on your cruise,

About transfer from (the car rental at) Newark Liberty Airport to the port, I do have the same challenge, looking for a not too expensive way of transport from there to the port. I have a rental car to drop off at the Hertz car rental at noon. So leaving then to the port will be wonderful. And I want to pick up a rental car also at Hertz after the cruise. Didn't book that one now, however. So it would be great to travel from and to the airport together.

About taking part to the roll call, I am there already. If you're travelling solo, there are some soloists meeting there already. So feel free to take part. For taking part at the Meet and Mingles party the second day, you have to register here. and for the roll call message board, that can be found here.

I had the chance to book a North Star reservation already. But they are running out op options to book it online, because it is very popular. I will do it the morning when we are in Boston.

Hope to meet you somewhere, at the airport or aboard the Anthem of the Seas in May!:D

    Greetings, Bril

  5. Hi, also travelling solo on your cruise. We, the solo meet and minglers on the rol call for our cruise, do try to do at least two dinners together, one on the second night, 9 PM, in Chops and the last night in Wonderland, 7.30 PM. But we couldn't get our reservations booked on the preferred times online ('sold out'). So we do have to try it at the guest services, the day of embarkation. I sugessted 2 PM, But I discovered the desk will be closing that time for the muster drill, so I will suggest, meet at 3.30 at the guest services desk May 14.

Wonderland will be @ 815 PM the last day.

  6. Thank you for your insight on Anthem's dining. I'm travelling on Anthem on the 5/14 sailing and nervous about the dining situation. My last cruise on the Brilliance in January Royal sat me at a table of 8 and I was the only one who showed up. They (my assistant waiter) then informed me that I was the only person scheduled to sit at that table and moved me to a table with a Japanese family that only the wife spoke English. Thankfully I met a single father and I had dinner with them the last 3 nights of the cruise. I'm hoping for a miracle on the next cruise otherwise I will try NCL next time.
