I'm the first to admit that it was too easy to get to Platinum, as I did it in 4 cruises.

I did it in 5. I only earned 1 point a day for one 7 day cruise. For everything else, I got double and triple points because I was booking 9+ months in advance and/or booking a Latitudes deal. I'll definitely miss the 9+ mos. bonus point.

For those of you looking for transfers from Barcelona Airport to Barcelona City Hotels /Port before the cruise and /or the port to the Airport after the cruise then I can highly recommend www.a2btransfers.com. I have been using them for many years all over the world and only once encountered a problem in New York City' date=' which was the fault of the local operator and was quickly put right.

 

The prices are excellent in Barcelona especially for the shared shuttle, so much cheaper than a taxi and more convenient than the airport shuttle buses or train as they will drop you at your hotel or at the ship.:)[/quote']

I already figured that Las Palmas was going to be a DIY stop. I'm trying to get a sense of the distance between Las Canteras and Maspalomas but I can't find a map or image with both locations. Does anyone know approx how far of a walk this is? Thanks!
