We are cruising to St. Kitts on Carnival in February.  We want our daughters to do the dolphin swim excursion but we (my husband and I ) just want to be there to watch them.  Our girls are 12 and 14.  Is this allowed?  If we book through Carnival, how do we reserve the excursion for our daughters only,  but be transported with them to Dolphin Discovery?   

I agree with those that said to look at other ships, mainly the newer and bigger ones.  We sailed the Legend with our girls, I think they were probably 8 and 10 at the time.  There was nothing for them to do.  Most of the people on the ship were older.  We've done the Carnival Dream with them and they had a blast.  There is so much more for kids to do on the bigger and newer ships.  

I'm so excited for this review! We are sailing on the Brilliance on April 25th and we can't wait! I haven't seen a lot of pictures so I can't wait to see yours :) Thanks for doing this!

1 year from today!!! At least I can now say "I leave on Feb 21st on the Freedom of the Seas" and no one thinks it's in 2015 ;)

Great review! We are sailing the Dream in April and have sailed the Disney Dream and Disney Wonder so I love seeing the comparisons! :)
