On the Veendam, the movie theater is the Wayang Theater. Check out Promenade Deck, just forward of mid-ship on the deck plans.
Thanks so much! I was afraid it was no longer there.

Thanks for review! We are looking forward to the Veendam . As Cruising Kay said we met on that ship in 2013. At that time there was a small movie theater. Is there still one? I don't see it on deck plans..

Thanks to all for the info on Wifi.

Do any of you remember seeing a place with free wifi near any of the ports. I usually find a café, etc that has this. Thanks for any info.

Just taking a chance someone may still be reading this thread. I usually find a place near the port that has free wifi. Does anyone know of such a place on this particular cruise route?

The Outrigger Bar area at the back of the ship has good views and plenty of seats. The Horizon Court starts continental breakfast at 5 a.m. (I haven’t been up that early to see if it’s true. The earliest I’ve walked around has been 6:15 a.m.) There’s self-service coffee and tea there. It will be convenient to take a cup of coffee from there to the Outrigger since they’re adjacent to each other.
The woman working in the shop whom I asked tonight said they did not have any more of the 50th anniversary items. I’ll look if we go to the outlet sale on our sea days after Curacao.
Thanks, Geoherb, glad I don't have to wait for 6 for coffee. And good info about Outrigger.

Thank you so much for your updates and taking time to answer questions. I love to get up really early (addicted to sunrise/sunset) and sometimes have a hard time finding a nice outdoor seating area. If you have a suggestion please share. Also, do they have coffee anywhere before 6 a.m.? I too have a Southern accent (MS) and sometimes misunderstood. Especially when we lived in CA a couple of years.

is there anywhere on Princess ships that have good coffee at no charge?
We'll be on Royal soon.

This is great information. thanks so much for taking the time to post it.
We will be on Zuiderdam in Jan. and were wondering about the price of drinks, etc.

One of the best reviews I have read on this site! Thanks so much.
One think I noticed that I would not have thought about was valet luggage so will check on price of it. Also, transfers to airport. I had nearly forgotten my binoculars till I saw your list.

I'm very interested in the noise level also. Is the higher deck better?
-
Thank you, Claudia B, that is the same situation we have. I don't care to sit in airport 7 hours nor sightsee in FLL as we will be there before cruise. Also, don't want to fly into New Orleans at dark and drive a couple of hours home. As we will be getting off the Century, which is a smaller ship, I'm hoping we'll make it o.k. We've been using self-disembarkation since before it became so popular. First time was in Copenhagen 12 yrs ago and I think they just let us off because we we went down and asked if we could leave the ship.

I was glad to see someone, I believe it was Elena7 Seas, mention that the Aqua Spa had good coffee. Does anyone know if they are open early. I know I can get room service but that would wake my husband. I like to slip out and enjoy sunrise and enjoy my first cup or two of coffee on deck.
We are on 2/23/13 cruise on Century and it sounds as if some of you may be also.

I hate to be dumb but what is Pre or post Sequester?

All right, one complaint - no picture of the dessert buffet!!
Just kidding. I'll use my imagination.

Thanks for tip on tiramisu cups - one of my favorite desserts.

I believe you have surpassed your past reviews. "Fragrant with a whisper of spice" - is there a Travel - Food Review position available.? Next time you can describe my plate as you take a picture of it. So glad no one has replaced us in your heart!!

Thank you. I'll also look for the chocolates!!

We will be on the Century which has Cova Café. Is coffee any different on that ship? Am I correct that there is no such thing as just a Coffee Card on Celebrity as there is on Princess.

Can one of you Maine or Portland natives tell me if Trader JOe's is walkable from cruise terminal?
Thanks,
Patsy

Thanks, MaryAnn, that was great.

That was a great site. I saved it to my Favorites, Thanks.

I echo CruizinSherry's thanks. We are staying right in town also for couple of days before cruise and are somewhat familiar with Boston. I had also done some research and found the Federal Wines and the other one on Boylston that would be convenient for us. Will check out the Shaw's, wasn't sure they carried wine.
Thanks, again.
