When I have done this only the fare changed. All perks and OBC remained the same. My on board bookings recently included a low price guarantee.

I booked a cruise onboard April 28th. The cruise was assigned to my big box TA. The Cruise Consultant advised that the AARP OBC could not be automatically applied but would need to be requested by the TA. Called the TA May 7th to have them “get” the cruise which took a few minutes. However, it took him about 30 minutes on the phone with HAL to get the $200 AARP OBC. Time well spent for OBC and TA cash card.

My wife and I were on this cruise and have no issues.

We were notified yesterday of the same change on our April 27th cruise on the Koningsdam.

I did not try other channels. I miss the big screens.
Next two cruises are on the New Statendam and Koningsdam. Great ships, great itineraries.

On the Oosterdam and watching Buffalo/Miami game in my room. All six games are scheduled. 3 for 3 so far.
Missed the first ten minutes of todays game. Maybe satalite issues in the fjord????

We were on June 18 to 25. About 1400 guests. Service was excellent except the last day at the outdoor pool when it took until 2:00 pm for HA to figure out one bartender and one server wasn't enough. Until the sunny last afternoon aft pool area only had smokers.
Very few masks even on HAL shore excursions where I thought they were mandatory. Masking was much better in January when masks were mandatory.
Food was very good and we ate in Lido, MDR and all 3 specialty restaurants. Easy to get times and days we wanted after boarding.
Cruise was great but I tested positive for Covid on Sunday. My wife is still negative. Very minor cold like symptons, no fever. We will cruise again in August. No worries.

I requested early ticketing yesterday for our August cruise with flights to London and they showed up on American today as ticketed.

We did 13 days Jan. 16th to 29th.
Jan. 16th to 23rd, just over 900.
Jan. 23rd to 29th, just under 900
-
On the Rotterdam now. Last week there were just over 900 passengers, this week just under 900.
No testing for 7 day passengers unless they felt ill and requested a test. Those like us staying for another week were tested Saturday morning for the Sunday turn around.

Thanks for the update. This is our plan for January. Do you know if terminal 3 is an easy walk from terminal 1?

We just booked a 13 day cruise on the Rotterdam in Jan. Wondering if there is a 120 volt outlet in the bathroom? Thanks for the great info and pictures of the new ship.

Received our deposit back to credit card today. It was dated June 26th. Shore excursions were credited two weeks ago. 91 days from cancellation on 3/31 until today.

Cancelled 9/1 British Isles cruise on 3/31. Received shore excursion credit on credit card today. Still waiting on deposit refund.

We have Antarctica scheduled for January. If the cruise goes we plan to be on it even if their is social distancing. This cruise is about the destination not meeting others.
-
Finally got through to TA who checked with HA and both cruises are fully refundable. Must be a glitch in there computer system. If I look at both cruises today on the TA's website the only fare shown is non-refundable with Have it All perks. No other options available on line with the TA today.
-
Has anyone heard of a non-refundable fare? It showed up on two of my big box booked 2021 cruises on their website today. I have only deposits paid on both cruises.
-
If you look at flight ease for 2020 trips Princess will let you take the 12:20 flight so it must be doable.

We were charged $49 each Jan. 12th on the Nieuw Statendam. They had just changed from ala Carter to fixed price. It was ala carte when we made the reservation 6 weeks before the cruise therefore no charge before we boarded. Maybe if you book early it is less.

I refaired our British Isles cruise this morning with our big box TA. Saved $1268 from sip and sail. Adds gratuities and internet and keeps the beverage package. We did lose $120 in TA OBC.
Good sale for us.

Is there a 120 volt outlet in the bathroom.

We stayed two nights in Hotel Saturnia post cruise after an Ocean Princess cruise from Athens.
We did not book through Princess and went with a large room since their lowest price rooms are quite small. We liked the hotel and location. Included breakfast was good. The front desk staff was very helpful with dinner recommendations and reservations at reasonably priced restaurants and a sunset gondola ride. 6-8 people in each of a half dozen gondola traveling as a pack with one singer.
Transporting luggage in Venice is a challenge. We were lucky that Princess transferred the luggage from the dock to the hotel for a nominal charge and took us to San Marco. We did a water taxi from the hotel to the airport. The experience was worth the 100 euros.
Electrical outlets in Westerdam bathroom usable for a Waterpik?
in Holland America Line

I use a plug-in travel waterpik sidekick. It plugged into the bathroom outlet and it worked fine on six cruises, until a Koningsdam cruise last month. On that cruise the plug was loose (post 5). I inserted a European adapter into the outlet and the waterpik plug into the adapter. It worked fine.
