We will be in 3112 on the Millie September 14 wine cruise. Will try to post photos when we get back. If I can't get big photos on CC, I'll email them if that helps. Shirley
I would really appreciate it if you could send me any pictures you have of cabin 3112.
Thanks,
Jerry

If you are patient, there is the Miami Trolley which is free. The problem is finding the Trolley stop at the port. It's at the very far northwestern end of Dodge Island across the street (North American Way) from the south side of the Port Administration Building. If you come in on NCL then it's on the complete opposite end of all the terminals and is a little bit of a hike. If you come in on MSC or Disney then you are pretty close.
There is no traditional bus stop or even a bench, just a sign on the curb next to a parking lot. In the link below, you want the Coral Way Route.

You can actually find it on Google Maps if you know where to look. See if this pulls up the port and then go to "Earth View."
Thanks very much for this information and the links. This will be a big help.

Does anyone know if they are serving sparkling wine and Bellini's at the daily breakfast for Diamond class and above? Celebrity does this and I was told RCL might start doing it also. I love Bellini's in the morning.

Does anyone know who the current Crown & Anchor Diamond class hostess is on the Grandeur?

$18.00 each way
That's per person?

We were in 3112 and friends were in 3116. No noise. Wonder how far back the dividing line is for noise or not in that wing. The cabin window is amazing though. Great views sailing out of Bermuda around the island.
I will be on her again in a little over a week in the same general area. Honestly do not remember the number
That's great news. :D Thanks for the information. The wife will be happy about that.

Oh, are you both talking about the summit? I'll be on the infinity. Wonder if it's different on that ship.
I'm talking about the Summit and this is the first I've heard of a problem with a vibration/noise in those new rooms.

Just back from the august 11th cruise on summit. We had room 3132. I absolutely LOVED the big window and the fact that everything was new-new. Great location near two sets of stairs and main lobby, and darling little "private" hallway. However.... The room had a constant vibration, very noticeable. There was also a low-grade "helicopter" sound outside that was audible at all times... Got quite anniying by the end when trying to sleep. Room was otherwise quiet, never heard our neighbors or noise from above. No noise from conference rooms either. If it werent for the vibration and outside noise, we would book this room again.
Has anyone else experienced the noises KiKi is talking about? :( My wife and I are staying in 3116 for a B2B and we had a previous experience with a noise on the Summit in room 3107. It drove my wife nuts.

Hi,
Thanks for your description of these new staterooms.
I have booked 3116 for my December 2012 cruise on the Celebrity Summit (and 3132 for my December 2013 cruise on the Celebrity Constellation). I am looking forward to having a new stateroom with the very large window.
Chuck
Hi there,
I would be very interested in your opinion of cabin 3116 on the Summit as we have booked it on a B2B in March 2014. Thanks :D

No, I have not heard anything major.
Obviously the casino above is a potential issue only.
I never book window cabins unless there is a special offer.
I prefer balcony.
But if I want to save money - I book an interior cabin.
The casino and the bar outside my door was my concern. Hopefully it is not a busy bar. :D
I prefer a balcony too but not so much on Caribbean cruises since the only thing to see is water. I had an interior cabin booked but got a better price on this oceanview so I grabbed it.
Thanks,
-
No inside photos, unfortunately.

Do you know of any complaints about this cabin?
Thanks - Jerry

Thanks for all the great information. ;)

They are all about the same distance from the Hyatt so you might as well go to the best one, Total Wine. Turn right on 17th St, walk over the bridge, cross the street at the crosswalk, continue walking west on 17th St, and turn left just before Embassy Suites. Walk a half block and you'll see it. If you can't walk a mile carrying bottles then take a cab on the way back by calling 954-777-7777.
Excellent! Thanks for the information.
Two more questions.
Does the Sun Trolley still operate?
Where would you eat dinner in that area?
Thanks RC

Yes.
Hey RoyalCruz,
Do you have any other information about walking from the Hyatt Pier 66 to one of the wine stores on 17? I'd appreciate any help or directions.
Thanks - Jerry

Can you walk across the 17th street bridge from the Hyatt Pier 66 to get to Walgreens?

9205 is not a bad one (for Celebrity S-Class).
There are lifeboats below but not too close.
Another factor: 9205 can be partially observed from the hump balconies.
In my opinion, (generally speaking) Aqua is not an upgrade unless it's a "free upgrade" and location is good. The problem with Aqua balconies: many of them have bad location.
The closest to 9205 "My Upgrade" would be 9215.
The Celebrity Solstice as an example:
Do you have any pictures of the poor people cabins such as cabin 3174 oceanview. :o
