@kat9661 My photo was taken early...I was the first off the ship LOL It was also a rainy, windy, overcast day. I would imagine it's busier on nicer days. It was a lovely little spot.

Thanks again! It looks like a great spot!
Are those the Oasis cabanas to the left of your photo?

There are tables with chairs and umbrellas on the back side of the swim up bar at the Oasis Lagoon. This is between the pool and beach. Great people watching. Here is a screen shot from my video.Capture.thumb.PNG.eb4fd90d54773119e17ba8614f63b6c2.PNG

    Jenny,

That looks perfect! I’m sure we are in the minority to what this type of seating as it doesn’t look busy in your photo.

    Thanks so much for sharing!

You could always buy the Beach Club pass. It also provides a Lobster or Steak lunch plus it has it's own pool area and beach views. He could sit at a table there. I believe it has just opened, I will find out on the 21st Feb 🙂 We have booked it for the day.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve considered that but thought it might be boring there for him. With so many free options available I was hoping there would be something near the Oasis pool area and the DJ. He could be entertained while I’m off to the pool and ocean!

  4. Question for recent visitors to Coco Cay. My husband prefers sitting in a chair at a table with an umbrella vs a lounger. We are spending the morning at Thrill Park and in the afternoon I’d like to do a combination of ocean swimming and pool. Is there a central location for hubby where he can watch the action and I can come and go?  I think he’d find a cabana boring, he doesn’t swim. I think he’d enjoy the activity at the Oasis pool.

I’d appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks!!

  5. Thanks all, great ideas to ponder. We went with the junior suite for the extra room and the walk in closet which will provide privacy for dressing. Since it’s just the three of us I’d prefer having us all in one room.

We are sailing over Easter school break and prices are steep. Currently, a large balcony stateroom is pricing higher than the junior suite we booked.

    Thanks!

  6. Two adults and 13 year old DGS sailing Symphony Easter Break 2020. Booked in a junior suite mostly for the very tall kid. More space, privacy, nicer bathroom, and walk in closet!  I think it’s the best choice for our family and it will make for a relaxed vs stressful week not tripping over one another in a small balcony cabin. Thoughts on my rational?

I compared the HOTS pricing and could get a large balcony cabin for 2k less than the jr Suite on Symphony. OMG, decisions, descions, but I’m pretty much set on the Symphony. And I think the junior suite gives us what we need.

appreciate any and all random thoughts.

  7. Just grabbed 7202 for our French Riviera cruise on Constellation in July 2019. Had originally booked a sweet 16 several weeks ago and I’ve been stalking the FV cabins daily since. Totally surprised to get one so far in advance. Happy dance! :D

  8. his is still available. We just did this same thing on March 17th. We had 4 people and the total room price at Comfort Suites was $385 with tax/fees. Definitely the least expensive cost we found.

May I ask if you had full access to Atlantis including water slides?

Thanks in advance for your help

  9. We used the Concierge perk of eating in the MDR on embarkation day.

It was a great way to start our cruise of 14 days on the Constellation.

The MDR was open from 12 noon to 1:30.

had a lovely window table for two, the prem drink package and lunch with dessert. By the time we were finished we could get into our C1 aft cabin and enjoy our big balcony.:D

That's a nice little perk for the Concierge cabins. We book C1's primarily for the aft balconies but love the idea of a relaxing lunch in the dining room on day of embarkation.

    Thanks for the tip!

  10. This thread has me rethinking our aft cc cabin to Hawaii this fall in favor of one of the "sweet 16". Several of those cabins are available and I'd save about $600. We love the aft and booked a year in advance to get it but the savings would pay for our airfare. Any thoughts from those having stayed in the "sweet 16"? Thanks!
