This is my first Oceania cruise and I didn’t see these perks listed on my final cruise vacation summary.

i was just concerned that what was offered is actually honored 

Has anyone been offered pre paid gratuities and an on board credit from a travel agent?

How exactly does it work and are they reflected on your account prior to sailing.

Just returned from this cruise yesterday, I didn't know anything about a virus issue until my cabin steward mentioned it as we entered our cabin

The only sick individuals on this cruise were the college students...too many had the drink packages and were drinking very heavily.

Luckily these kids were not on my deck, I stayed on deck 9 in a mini-suite and were able to avoid tem.

I have reservations at both the W hotel and the Courtyard Beach. I was wondering which hotel is the most convenient to the beach and restaurants/shopping...I have read really mixed reviews on the W lately...thanks in advance

With all the talk on this board about the Sheraton...I'm thinking maybe on the beach in an oceanview/balcony room might be the way to go.

I'm assuming the trolley is close by the Sheraton to get to sites etc...

Looking to stay here before our cruise in March. Was wondering what the walk is like to the beach and how it compares to others in the area. Is it easy to walk to area sights etc??

I have stayed at the Marriott Harbor Beach in the past...I thought it was a little isolated from restaurants etc..

Oceans&Rivers, Thanks for your reply, I have to say I have cruised up and down the Atlantic. From NYC to Canada and Baltimore to the Bahamas and both times the seas were rough a few times during the cruise...mostly due to hurricanes in the distance.

Athough I must admit I just cruised out of Venice Italy to the Greek Isles and Croatia...wow was that like cruising on a river. So I might be a bit spoiled by the calm seas.

Can't wait to do this cruise and visit the Pacific coast !!

My husband I just booked a Princess 9/22/13 Coastal Cruiise and we are from the East Coast :) After reading much of this post, I'm not so sure this was the right cruise for us. We are big onboard spenders and are in our 40's.

How rough are the seas...really???
