I am not sure if anyone follows this thread anymore. For what it is worth, i have kept one since 2006. It too is leather bound with hand sewn pages. Along with what others have contributed. I add snippets to of things i want to remember for my next cruise. For instance "bring a coffee mug" I always read my journal before the next trip. My only problem is that some days I am too exhausted from the days activities to write and I put it off 'till the next day.

We start with Mimosas at breakfast, a Fosters can at lunch, 2 cocktails before dinner, wine with dinner, scotch after dinner on our balcony or at a show. Any way you cut it we figure we saved over $300.00 on a seven day cruise. We saved receipts for all our purchases to compare.
