  1. I am also grieving the Commodore ships. That's what brought me to this page!!! I also found a couple of Youtube videos of it. DJ Danny replied on one of them

I still have some of the things I bought on that ship. also a couple T-shirts, including the Waxx Radio shirt.

I actually have video of that show(somewhere) & some of the games on that ship from my old camcorder. I just don't know how to transfer it all.

I have some photos on my Facebook page also.

It's good to connect with people who loved commodore also. I've been on may cruises since then---and compare them all to Commodore. :D

  2. The only reason I looked at this thread was to find another Commodore cruiser! I took my first one in 1994 on Enchanted Seas. It was sold as a classroom ship, so the next 5 were on Enchanted Isle.

I almost cried when they went out of business. As far as I'm concerned these were the best cruises ever & if still operating I would still be on that ship. I've been on 30 cruises now, & none of them will ever compare to Commodore. I still have my T-shirts & a few other memorabilia that I can't part with.

  3. Our first was on Commodore Isle of Capri out of NOLA in 2000. The line went bankrupt a few years later. In fact, on another cruise out of NO we saw the empty ship floating across the Mississippi from where we were boarding.

I still remember how good the food and the service was in the dining room. The entertainment was two young kids, but they could really sing

We also saw probably the funniest Newly and not so Newlywed Game ever.

  4. My Husband & I sailed on the Carnival Sensation in Jan. of 2002. There was a musical group of 4 or 5 people called Synergy. THe main singer was: Katrina Love. They were a very enjoyable group-talented & friendly. I would love to see them preform again.

Hello there!! I just returned from Boston. Staying in a hotel there, went to the lounge. Guess who is performing?? KATRINA LOVE!! I couldn't believe it. She lives there & performs there when she is home. She is planning to go back to cruise performing soon, not sure when yet. The band she performs with is called Synergy. I live in La.
