  1. I will be spending a day in Nassau soon with my family and am thinking of doing an afternoon "pub crawl" on our own. We want to avoid the touristy places like Senior Frogs, but still stay within walking distance of our cruise ship. Which bars would you would recommend? Any special Bahamian and/or unique drinks we should try? We are all over 18, but one of us only drinks mocktails, so any interesting thoughts in the non-alcoholic area would also be greatly appreciated!

We just returned from a quick nassau/princess cay iteneray and while we did the actual "pub crawl" excursion (and enjoyed it) I can not speak highly enough about the fish fry. The food was amazing, drinks flowed and the staff (particularly Kenny) were the best ever. Will need a cab though, I'm estimating about 2 miles past junkaroo beach by the fort - the jerk chicken, mac&cheese, peas&rice, and fried plantains were seriously out of this world and like $10. Oh and the fish snacks were incredible.

  2. Anyone know approx. how far out the sailings will show for the NEXT round of premier cruises after your current round expires? I'll try to explain...

When I'm logged in right now I can see through June or July of this year but I can't remember exactly when this batch of sailings showed up in my available offers.

Yes, I'm weighing my odds on a future sailing...

I have three booked currently, know that we will have at least 2 or 3 BB offers from those and I'm sure we will maintain Premium qualifying status... but of course it pains me to not use anything free when I'm not even sure if the premier window will fall when I'm able to use it... (I still have to work sometime I suppose)

So ... I'm thinking it's like a 3 month chunk of time they release to us at a time maybe? So I'll see the July, August and September window or whenever the next "batch" of those cruises are?

  3. I would post it on the roll call for the cruise. There is another spot that is a place where people list them but I am not allowed to say it on here.

Good idea on the roll call - I was thinking those folks were already booked but if I can get someone that booked within the last few days they can still send it in I think and then at least a CC member can use it. And thanks for the reminder about not being able to post it here - that reminds me where I think I saw that other place but I'm going to try the roll call first as I'd rather give back to CC since everyone here has helped me so much through the years ;)

  4. Basically an onboard credit - they vary in amounts depending on the ship and how many days - like this was one either $75 or $100 I think - I booked the October Cruise on the last one I was on and by doing that it was a little bit of a lower deposit and a credit. Sometimes there are better deals coming to us from the casino so we don't always book with the future cruise packages anymore but in this particular case it was almost a year out and I wanted a specific sailing so I didn't want to wait to see if it happened to fall within a casino deal. The future cruise perks aren't quite as big as they used to be (in my opinion) but if you have a specific sailing that you know you want and you are cruising ahead of time especially if there are going to be 2-3 cabins involved then a few hundred dollars in credits is nice.

  5. I can't quite find anything on the new layout yet - wasn't there a place on here to help match people up? I have two F&F vouchers that we aren't going to use (booked future cruise on our last one) - it's for the VISTA 10/29/17 Sailing out of Miami. Needs to be booked by 2/24 though. I don't want anything for them obviously I just hate to see them go to waste would like to let someone get the $75/$100 taken off their bar tab :)
