Great reviews, thank you. I took advantage of the 20% off promotion and just today booked an Alaska cruise for Aug 2020. We are doing the northbound one, and it includes airfare which is perfect. I’d like to fly in a day early and explore Vancouver a bit. Very excited!

Reservations open at 120 days for non suite cabins. You can book online or through the app.
My cruise is already 88 days away and I can't find anything on the app, or online. Is it because I went through my travel agent?

Hi all, just booked my first trip on the Gem. I have been on the Breakaway once and the Dawn several times. This is the first time I have had the specialty dining as a perk. How do I book reservations now? Can it be done?
Thanks

I might be interested in one depending on the price
Not sure where to post this but i have 2 x 250usd cruise next deposits that expire sept 6 2019 im trying to sell, they are transferrable. Does anyone know where i can post this? -
Correct.
Is there an age restriction on the kids meal?

#7 or #8 bus routes will take you there, but taxi fare wouldn't be a great deal more....and the larger taxis hold up to 7 passengers so they can accommodate your group. The estimated taxi fare for 5 -7 passengers Monday through Saturday is $24.75 plus tip each way. Bus fare for 6 using tokens that cost $3.50 each will cost $21.
I'd take the taxi for convenience at only a few dollars more.
EDIT: Forget what I said. Three zone bus tokens only cost $2.75 each (3 zone cash fare is $3.50), so for 6 people the fare using tokens will be only $16.50.
I appreciate the info!

A route #7 or #8 bus will get you there. As you board, tell the driver your destination. The fare is $4.50 all zone token p/p. Since Somerset Bridge is only 2 zones from the Dockyard, then you could use a 3 zone token. The fare would be a $3.50 3 zone token. When buying the tokens, specify the 3 zone token.

Hi, we will be on an NCL cruise to Bermuda Aug 17-24 and are looking to rent a boat from Somerset Bridge Watersports. We will be coming from the Naval dockyard. Is there a public bus route that goes to Somerset Watersports? We may have 6 people so I don't think a taxi will work and I don't want to spend a lot of money getting there.
Thanks

Great info from everyone, thanks. I think I may end up booking one this week.

Carnival does roundtrips from Charleston, SC.
I don't think they had any for the date I need. My schedule is very limited when it's not the summer as I am an educator who has specific vacation breaks

Hi all, I live on the East Coast and have only sailed NCL because the Boston and NY cruise ports are easy for me, and I can only go certain times of the year as I am an educator. However, I am looking at flying to NOLA and taking the Carnival Dream to the Caribbean during my February break.
What do you love about Carnival?
How does it compare to NCL ( if you've been on both)
I love NCL for the freestyle dining..does Carnival have something similar?
I am looking at booking a balcony as the prices are a lot cheaper than most other ships for that category.
I would also love to hear any cons about this cruiseline.
Thanks for all the help!

Thanks for the info on NCL. My TA says that none of the ships going to Bermuda have their casinos open. Don't know if she means just during the day or what.
Hoping someone went there this summer and can tell me for sure.
from what I remember, ships only have casinos open while in international waters, not while docked.

Was wondering if anyone has cruised on the Dawn the last few weeks this summer? I haven't seen many posts about people's experiences on the ship and was hoping to hear everyone's thoughts. We are cruising on her in a couple of weeks and hope it is as great for us this time as it has been in the past. Thanks.

I know people who sailed a few weeks ago and loved it, and some who sailed last year and said the same. I am also going in a couple of weeks (8/17) and can't wait to see all the upgrades since I was on last time in 2014.

You CAN redeem online. I just did it with a cruise for Alaska. You should see the certificates in your account and when you go to make a down payment or any payment, one of the options is to use the certificates. It listed both of mine and I was able to apply to my booking. All done on the NCL website.
