Thanks for the quick reply
We don't get to EWR until 8:30 pm, so I don't expect we'll be up for much that night besides dinner and sleep. And we're good with ordering pizza, so food isn't much of a problem.
Our return flight isn't until 4:00 pm, so plenty of time. That's next on my planning list - something to do between disembarkation and getting to the airport at 2:00.
Since we live in the Gulf Coast area, we've always driven to the ports. This flight to the departure port is a first for us. It definitely changes our packing and weight limits -)

We're flying into EWR on 10/3/18 for a 10/4 Anthem cruise our of Cape Liberty. There will be a total of 7 people, 5 coming from one place and 2 from another.
I've seen lots of recommendations for TrinityReservations here, so I gave them a whirl. They actually have a package for a party of 5 for $250, which includes transportation from EWR and the cruise port., It's the Holiday Inn in Carteret, which it says is 10 miles from the airport, and 16 from the cruise terminal.
Anyone have any experience with this hotel? (Or any other recommendations?) Seems like a good price, once you factor in transportation costs for somewhere closer.
Thanks!

We're flying into Birmingham, Alabama. The 4:00 flight was the sweet spot for using miles on Delta, so we're going with that. Thanks for the help!

Hi! We're on Anthem of the Seas out of Port Liberty on October 4th, 2018. We disembark on Saturday, October 13th. Assuming nothing unusual :D, is a 4:00pm flight out of EWR relatively safe timing?

Want to learn about the results of your "flushable wipes"? Google "fatburg" and learn about the poor London sanitary engineers dealing with a clog that blocked up a 6 foot wide pipe. Just don't Google it over dinner, or in heavy seas. [emoji16]

The older I get, the more caffeine affects me at night. Does NCL have any decaf colas?

Even a balcony can be bad. Our one and only time on a carnival ship we booked a cove balcony. It was on deck five, and only about 30 feet to the water. It was wonderful.... until every night at 2:30, when the forklift carrying the pallet of dirty silverware and pots and pans dropped it directly over our bed. Repeatedly, at 15 minute intervals, for about 2 hours.
I complained every morning. Guest services swore this had never happened before, and had no other complaints (we asked people on either side of us, and they had complained also and got the same story. They looked as tired and haggard as we felt). GS even sent someone down one night, who listened about 30 seconds, then said "Nope, all quiet" and left. 3 minutes later...BAM!. [emoji35]
Now I always confirm was is above, below and to the sides of our cabin.
