We just got back 2 weeks ago and received the duffle bags and they came in handy. We packed all our booty we bought back with us. Love the bag - nice looking and folds up. Looking forward to the next gift hope it's what they are giving out next March 2017.

We want to make reservations for the first night at the steakhouse on the Miracle. I heard that they give you a free bottle of wine the first night. Does anyone have the email address?

You can still bring soda and wine on board. The new change is that you can only bring soda in cans and only when you initially board the ship. You can no longer bring sodas on board at ports of call. So make sure you have all the soda you want or need once you embark.

ok - so quick question. Can you still bring 1 bottle person of wine on board? And also can you bring a 12pk of of soda? We have always done this, but heard that they changed their policy. I also ordered water because they said no more bringing water - correct?

Loved- loved - loved your review. You were so detailed, helpful and entertaining. I haven't been on the breeze. But after your review i am going to look into it. I love the fact you made this review so personal. I feel we got to know 007 a little better. Would love to meet up with you guys on a future cruise. We have been on 9 cruises; all on carnival but 1 which was NCL. It was ok out on NO but the ship was old and it was about 10 years ago. We live in San Diego and have been to the Mexican Rivera a few time leaving out of San Diego and Long Beach. Loved when Carnival was in San Diego and moved to Long Beach :( . But anyway where i was going was to let you know when you go to Puerto Vallarta you have to do the Las Caletas private island. We did this last year and loved it; especially since you guys love to hand out lounging at the beach. This was by far the best excursion in all the cruising we have done. Find your spot on this private island and you will have a serving coming with drinks all day and then dinner is served all included in the price. We are going on the Journey cruise to mexico in January and we are booking the Rhythm of the Night excursion on this island, can't wait to go. Happy cruising and thank you for that great review.

My husband did it in May 2014 on the Miracle. It was $95 and according to him money well spent. Be sure to have closed toed shoes. It is a rule strictly enforced. You should also sign up as soon as you board. They only do one tour of 14 and those slots fill up fast.

I am so happy to hear that they offer it on the Miracle. Last year we tried on the Sunshine and they didn't offer it. I will be first in line. Thank you

Does anyone know if the Miracle offers the behind the scene tours? I know some ships offer and some do not.

We are going on the Miracle in April and are thinking about making reservations. Has anyone eaten at the Steakhouse recently and how was it. Also, do you still get a free bottle of wine on first night sailing?

What is this $5 casino credit? Please explain

If you order a classic drink ask the bartender for the receipt. You take that receipt to the cashier in the casino and she will give a card that can be used at the tables. So let's say you bet $5 dollars and place the card on the table now your bet is $10. So I started ordering classic drinks and took all the receipts to casino casher and then gave the $5 cards to my husband and he used them at the bj tables. Worded out great. Just remember that you have to ask the bartender for the receipt because they just don't give them out on their own. I had to asked ever time. But that's ok they just print it and hand to you.

We got it on cruise on the Sunshine last month and we enjoyed it. I like the fact that I can try a drink and if i didn't like it oh well I just ordered another one. The other thing that I really enjoyed is every night I would end with a chocolate martini or two before going off the bed. Something I learned 2 days into the cruise is that if you order a classic drink which cost 8.75 and ask for the reprint receipt you can take it to the casino and get a $5 free play at the tables. I had collected over $100 worth of these and my husband used at the tables and game ahead $400 with them. So was it worth it for us - YES.

I know I have seen threads on this, but don't find one now. We are trying to book a reservation at the steakhouse on the Sunshine. We are logged into our carnival account and have tried several times to book a reservation and have been told we would receive and email with no response. Is there another way to book a reservation on the Sunshine. Thank you for your help.
