Guess who just booked a 7 day cruise for December? WE DID! YAY for another countdown ticker! Looks like I will be writing another review sooner than I expected. :)

WHOO-HOO!! :D High-five's to you from out in California. What a way to celebrate an early Christmas!!

We haven't even gone on our first cruise yet, but I am very much looking forward to the 2 elegant nights on our 7-day. I'm a stay-at-home-mom, and DH works from home, so we very rarely have the chance to get dressed up. (Dh won't wear a tux...maybe a jacket, def. a tie.)

Kids are also looking foward to it -- DD is 10 and can't wait to wear her new dresses. DS is 7; wasn't planning on going so far to buy him a jacket, but while browsing some post-Easter sales, he spotted one, tried it on and insisted that I buy it! :)

HOWEVER...this is our first cruise, so everything seems exciting. I can understand if this was cruise #10 or #20+, I might be totally over dressing up. Or maybe not? Time will tell! ;)

OH! That's the same dress I want! Tried it on at Macy's but they didn't have my size. Very pretty!! (And glad that someone gets to enjoy it! :p)

I am hoping that they will add another ship as well as a variety of itineraries when the terminal is built. If the "Hysterical" Society would just let things progress and quit their whining! It makes me crazy when they start talking about how "these type of cruisers" wouldnt have an interest in Charleston's history and wouldnt spend money at our restaurants and tours. PFTT! If they would just take a peek at these boards they could see how many people actually stay pre and post cruise. :rolleyes:

Being from California, airfare is crazy expensive for any of the Caribbean/Bahama cruises. If we ever go, and leave out of Charleston, you can bet that my family will also spend a few days pre or post cruise in your lovely city -- one that I've always wanted to visit. Don't know the whole story, but hope you guys get your new terminal! :)

Just wanted to say thanks for the great review. I really enjoyed your last review, and read how excited you were when you booked this one...so I've been looking forward to reading this! (Somehow missed it when you first posted.)

We haven't even taken our first cruise yet, but reading other review of ships I won't even be on has become my new past time. :o And you're definitely an inspiration to attempt my own photo review when we return.

Thank you for this wonderful review...gorgeous photos. We haven't made it onto our first cruise yet, but you have me dreaming. :p I've never been to Europe but have always wanted to...never thought seeing it via a cruise ship would be the way to do it, but seriously re-thinking that! :)
