Has anyone hired the horse and carriage that are near the cathedral in Palma? Are they expensive and where do they take you? Can you hire them just to take you back to where the ship is rather than getting a taxi?

I looked at that one as well, what did you think to it happy v? It says 45 mins free time and I'm not sure that would be enough. The other one has longer free time but it doesn't actually say how you see the sights, I'm presuming it's a coach.

Has anyone done taste of Rome excursion? I am travelling with my mother so have chosen this as it says easy walking. Any comments or advice appreciated. Thanks.

Would you really get left behind if you were late back. I'm worried if anything goes wrong the ship would sail without us. Obviously I would give myself lots of time but it is a worry to me.

Hi Decjoe, got email last night with pickup time for coach. Not long now :)

I expected to have coach info but nothing received yet. We are picking coach up at Manchester airport.

Can't help yet but will do soon. Have been on Majesty and am going on Spirit in 3 weeks so will let you know what I think.

Your right, charging to use a safe is ridiculous. On a par with having to pay to choose your plane seat.

Thanks, I've come across that, some that I 've looked at cover it as Europe and some didnt. Is there plenty of deck space on Spirit for sunbeds? With first two days being at sea iwondered if there was plenty of space. Is the main area for sunbeds where the pool is?

Hi decjoe thanks for the info. Didn't know that about Algeria, we will do an excursion there definitely, most of the places I've never been to. Not booked any trips, will do it when on board ship but hopefully will be able to do some on our own. I'm sure we will like the Spirit, have been on Majesty and liked that.
