  1. Aztec and anyone else from the cruise that wants to chat; we are in the palapas in front of the panoramic rooms by the infinity pool. Five hours till boarding!

    Kanpai,

What a wonderful invitation! Thank you for asking and I apologize for not being there but I just read your post. I hope you all had a delightful cruise and are back home safe and sound. We enjoyed our trip very much . . . Especially renewing our wedding vows on the PG motu. The crew made the experience so wonderful! I miss Shurnan the most. Where is my breakfast in bed every morning!?!

  2. Our daughter has been on 11 a Disney cruises since she was five and she is now 14. When she was little, she loved the cruises but did not want to go to any of the kids clubs. When she was old enough to go to The a Edge, she loved that. At 13, she was allowed to go to the a Vibe (with parental permission) and now we hardly ever see her when we are on Disney cruises. She has made lasting friendships (especially thanks to social media) and now she has friends in our hometown that she met on a Disney cruises. She also continues texting friends all over the world whom she met on a Disney cruises and they talk their parents into going on future Disney cruises so the teens can travel together again. For example, we made reservations for the Norway/Iceland cruise in 2015 largely because my daughter's group of Vibe friends are driving the effort to sign up for the cruise.

  3. Once you go on the concierge level, especially on the a Dream and the Fantasy, you will never want to travel any other way. The regular concierge level rooms get the same benefits as the one bedrooms. However, the bathrooms in the one bedrooms are much better! They have whirlpool tubs that are wonderful!

  4. I think they will accommodate you where ever you check in. Anytime we have left Port Canaveral and have been on the concierge level ( which most recently included three of the five Disney cruises I took in 2013), we have checked in and were given our key to the world cards in the concierge waiting area in the back right side of the facility. I never even knew there was a line for concierge on the left. I will have to look for it in May when we go on the Eastbound Transatlantic cruise to Spain when we too will be staying in the Roy a Disney suite. When is your cruise?

  5. Do you think a girl who is just turning two years old (last day of the cruise!) is too young for the tea party? She is currently 22 months old and is already getting into putting on my clothes and our 3yr old neighbors dress up clothes, so I have recently bought her some size appropriate Disney princess dresses to bring on the cruise with us. I thought this tea party may be fun to bring her to (along with the 3yr old neighbor who will be travelling with us, and her mom as well :) ), however, if it's geared more for older girls, I can understand.

    Thanks for any input! :)

Of course they should both attend wearing their princess gowns. It is never too early to expose any girl to the fine art of tea. The first time our daughter went to tea was when she was four months old and has been enjoying teas all over the world, including on Disney ships, ever since. This is the perfect tea for all little princes and princesses but don't forget your camera. There will be great photo opts. Also, get there early because the cute little girls get chosen to pour the tea at the table up front.

  6. Yes, her name is Angeline! Thank you so much for helping me remember. She was so sweet. Last summer, she gave me a glass dish for my birthday. She was so sad because her mother had just died and she was leaving to go home at the end of our cruise. She told me she would be on the EBTA in May of 2014. It will be nice to see her again.

I would love to join the FB group. Could you please send the link to jpotenza@potenzacpa.com. Yes, it is true, I am a CPA and I better quit daydreaming about my vacation and get back to tax returns!

  7. The two bedroom suite is an excellent choice as well. We do love the concierge service! Last summer we went on a 12 night Med cruise and a lady from Nigeria (can't think of her name right now) was our concierge and she was great. She will be on this cruise too. I wanted to book a concierge cabin on the 11 night Iceland/Norway cruise in June 2015 but $33,000 for 2 adults and one child seems outrageous, especially when the Magic does not even have a concierge lounge. Did you book any port adventures for Maderia or Malaga?
